There is a bug out that allows shamans to do damage to friendly, non-pvp flagged targets in town.
I am sure this will be fixed soon, but in the meanwhile enjoy less spam and watch out on your bank alts.

Sorry, details on bug has been removed, remember keep it legal, this is a exploit which CAN GET YOUR ACCOUNT SUSPENDED OR EVEN BANNED!!
Hunters can group with gold spammers, go hated with cenarion hold, misdirect the gold spammer (then fraign death) and hit the guy at the bottom of the flight tower in org.

What're the gold farmers gonna do, report us?
"NI HAO BLIZZARD GM; I WAS INNOCENTLY SPAMMING TRADE, GENERAL, SAY, AND YELL CONSTANTLY, WHILE ALSO PMING EVERY CHAR UNDER LV40 FOR POWERLVLING SERVICES WITH MY LV1 HUMAN/ORC WARR WITH GOLD SELLER ADS WHEN THIS ASSHOLE COMES ALONG AND KILLS ME! NOW I CAN ONLY SPAM TRADE AND GENERAL! WTF! PLZ BAN HIM SO I CAN RUIN YOUR GAME IN A MORE COMPLETE MANNER!"
Honestly, I believe Blizzard should make any lv1 in Major Cities/Rest Zones "Free For All" kills. Any bank alt can hit lv2 within literally 2minutes of playing, and only applying to lv1s or lv2s means any legit player/bank alt will be able to avoid this, and lv3 would prevent any accidental-lvlups for exploration exp on the farmers running to town. A boomkin can dream, can't he? :P Lv1s have no business outside the start zone anyways, and any slowdowns we can put in farmers/sellers/spammers way is good, cuts into their bottom line

It's not the how that matters, but the what. It could be argued that you understand for sure that this was not meant to behave like it does, and if you do use it to kill anyone, you are abusing a bug. That the gold spammer wont get any sympathy is besides the point in the argument.
It is not different from a warlock releasing an infernal in effect, just a bit more new and not prone to interference by self appointed infernal slayers.
I deliberately did not post any how-to, and I wont supply the how-to bit via PM either, sorry guys. The umbrella on the pile of corpses was just the sugar on top that made me share the screenshot.

The problem with that is that just like with mulitboxing people appoint themselves deputy sheriff of the server and report away. The gold seller himself is not likely to report, or be heard, but another player complaining about killed bank alts is an completely different story.

The problem is, that this bug does not only effect goldspammers.
EVERYONE in the area of effect takes dmg.
On my realm some regular low levels died in Orgrimmar because of this and atleast 2 level 70 shamans did not show up since then.

We don't want people killing random low level players or bank alts. But the key difference between those and the gold spammers is the character age.
I doubt that a gold spammer ever gets past 1h /played. It would be possible to use not only level but also character age for a mechanism to keep our chat channels clean.
It would be funny to have the anti-rogue npcs cut down gold spammers, or maybe even funnier have yellow level 1 beasts attack them. :D

No possibilty to interact with anyone till level 6. I mean no chatting, no mail, no trading, no /who requests, no groups,... nothing besides leveling and questing. level 6 is roughly 30 minutes of playtime, no one will get hurt by that. even if you have 4+ bank alts, level one every day and it's ok.

The answer as always is for people to stop being greedy pricks and buying gold.
Anything blizzard implement will be bypassed.
Spam reports? Use emotes.
No access to main channels? Hack thousands of accounts from idiots clicking on " Omg be awesome wow cheat site lolol!!11" links.
Have to be level 6? Bot.
Its a nasty business, and the player base are the only folk to blame for the situation.

It sucks, but this is certainly true. The only reason they exist is because they do make a profit, which means wow players are buying gold. I have to come clean and admit that I have bought gold once pre-boxing, so I'm guilty as anyone. /Shame.
I was young... I.. I needed the gold, I didn't know what else to do!
/cry.

You can no longer say I fail Khaz :P I've never had much gold on any char...but I simply do without instead of buying, just one less thing earned/accomplished if I skip the journey to it

I will never forget 2 years back my bf got power levled 20 levels despite numerous warnings from me, then got hacked a few days later.
And I lolled so hard.
A year or so ago, people where not really aware of the perils of gold buying etc, but with the amount of publicity it gets now, ya don't really have an excuse anymore.

Right on the money fur. The epic (land) mount was the reason why I bought some. I only even bought a couple hundred to help me along the way as well. Grinding money sucked back then.
