Follow Focus after Castsequenz -> Problem

Hi @ all,

my problems seems to be that my alts (wl lvl 10) have a castsequenz

/assist main
/petattack
/castsequence [nochanneling] reset=target Corruption, Curse of Agony, Drain Soul, Drain Soul, Drain Soul

after i killed a mob .. they don´t follow my main anymore .. and i have to klick the follow macro ...

/target focus
/follow
/assist
/stopcasting

can i chance the castsequenz macro somehow, that i doesnt need to hit the focus follow button ?

and if yes how ...

i think mybe i should just combine them ... ?? <- tried this .. but my alts loosing target ... why i didn´t known this before ... its just aarrrwww :(

ps maybe the problem is the channeling ... in my trys without the channeling drain soul thingy it works ok (the targeting is not that one that i want, i saw discussed in an other thread so i read this first before i ask ;) ) but they follow me after combat and thats fine ... when i cast drain soul i always have to hit the follow macro and that sucks -.-

thanks 4 the answer ... but every channeling seems to break my follow :cursing: ... is there maybe a solution 4 a macro that maybe looks like

/cast [nochanneling] drain soul
/follow main

i want to spam the key ... but i think with the nochanneling it should work

or somethin with non combat

/assist main
/petattack
/cast [nochanneling] drain soul
/[nocombat] follow main <-- ?( dont know the syntaxt of this ... and i also have to be shure to push the button after channeling .. and often after drain soul ... the mob die and i forget to push the button once again :sleeping: .. and start to run away while my alts standing in the middle of the forrest looking after some trees or something like that :pinch:

your This doesn't really help you with your macro problem, but I just thought I'd mention that I have my follow macro bound to one of my mouse buttons. After a couple of minutes you get used to it and don't even think about it anymore.

The problem you have is that if you follow immediately after you cast a channeling spell, it will break the spell.

so try


/assist main
/petattack
/cast [nochanneling] Drain Soul
/stopmacro [channeling:Drain Soul]
/follow main

but ithink if i spam the macro .. the drain soul abort :( ... and i don´t want that . :thumbdown: .. maybe i have to lay the follow macro on a mouse button ... but this is not how it should works like :thumbdown: ... ( if you know what i mean)

ps i´m @ work .. till 17:00 german time ;P so just 6:30hours till i can test it ....

You probably want "/aftercast <something>", through this addon:

So that will become:
/aftercast /follow main

I haven't tried this yet though. Good luck!

and i think i give it a try ...

i think it shoukd then looks a litte like

/aftercast /follow focus or main
/assist main
/cast [nonchanneling] drain soul

do you confirm with me .. ?

i hope this works .. because it looks very nice ...

have someone maybe test it with castsequenz ? if not ... i will do it 8) lately in the night maybe ...

Looks fine. Please note that the plugin is old. The used script commands might be protected (and thus unavailable) by now. Thus, if your client disconnects when trying it, don't retry ;)
