[WoW] dual healing help

I currently have 2 shamans, zmon and xmon. I am using the simple macro for healing:

/assist zmon
/cast Healing wave

But at the moment when i click the button, he would cast the healing wave before he assist zmon, meaning he would heal himself or his previous target before he acquires his new target.

Can anyone please offer some advise?

There is some delay between you targetting a target and time you can actually push assist button. You should monitor target of your 2nd character and you will find out whats going on ;)

i am using

first i have my main
/focus

and then i can use etc:
/assist
/cast [target=focus] Flash heal
whenever i want to.
i haven't had any problem yet.
try this in onyxia once.

i am a druid and a priest btw.
