GTA IV - anyone else playing?

I'm pretty much a WoW addict, and not many games come along that actually impact my game time with WoW, but this is one of those games. Probably one of the best console games I've ever played, and the satirical bent of the game makes it one of the funniest as well.

Anyone else playing this at the moment?

yep, is now my tuesday night amusement :)....got it on the monday before release and have put a bit of time into it, bout 8 hours or so and am around 16% through. Won't touch multiplayer until I finish single though.

My xbox is on the fritz and waiting for a repair box but I got to play it for 2 days, honestly wasn't impressed with it... I think comming from WoW where controls are down to a fraction of a second, GTA feels really sluggish. And what's up with the emergency brake? you could be going 10 mph, hit it and slid for like 40 yards like your on ice

Been playin GTA4 on my 360 since release while quad boxing EQ2. I'll mainly camp a spawn, set my 10-15min timer and run missions/sandbox GTA4 until mobs pop in eq2... Talk about multitasking.

Sure, I can spend hours nit-picking the game, but I've never coded a $100 Million game before, so what do i know? Personally, with 17.5% of the game completed, I'm enjoying the hell out of it and recommend it to any Adult (not age-wise adult, mentally-adult).

I really want to play it but I'm not ready to drop $400 to buy a 360 atm to play just that game :(

from what all my friends at school say, it seems like a pretty awesome game...
i can't wait till it comes out on the PC (if it ever does...) as i don't really like to play the 360 because I never have a nice TV to play it on

Yeah, I've been playing almost nonstop. I think I'll start over because one of the achievements is to complete the missions in under 30 hours and I'm already at 15 hours and like 18% because it is so fun to just go off on your own.
