Looking over http://www.maxdps.com to work out upgardes to aim for, I've noticed that some of the best items come from BoE purple patterns that drop in BT/SSC and it got me thinking...has anyone tried multibox farming just the trash in those zones, and is it possible or are there just too many per pull/too many hp's/need 25 to do each pull safely?

If it is possible I'm thinking it would be a great way to save a few k gold for upgrades before the sunwell badge loot.

Usualy in the 25 man raid's there are pulls of a minimum of 4 to 6 and they have alot of hp.

BTW its so not worht it, go for WeLFeaR

Yeah, am doing the welfare option now but will likely only get the mainhand weapons before season 4 starts, and after that there is no point for me since I'm struggling to even be close to winning a match at this stage so I'll never hit the required ratings for s3 or s4 gear.

Wasn't sure if it would be viable or not, guess it's just a matter of farming enough gold per purchase instead..probably take less time to do too :D

I tried the first pack in SSC with 5 shamans just to see how much I could take down 1 mob. Even with all the elementals down, I was raped very quickly.

Hm scc trash and tk trash are a pain with 25, let alone 5 :). Would be cool though, getting some trash down, just for the fun of it.

There is/was some soloable trash in BT, but they no longer drop epics as of a few patches ago.

I -WAS- going to reply to this first thing in the morning but for some reason my IE wouldn't cooperate and let me reply/post/PM or even view a couple of threads...I fixed it now though, so here ya go ;p

Ain't gonna happen. SSC Trash is some of the hardest in the game not counting Sunwell which I haven't experienced yet, but they have so many tricks up their sleeves and require so much CC and have so much hp a multiboxer'll never do it alone; a group of boxers maybe :P BT and Hyjal trash isn't as bad "trickwise"(the Healer naga destroy everyone within range and requires alot of non-stop random-target healing, the hunter naga and their spore bats use Bestial Wrath and the sporebats are untankable until the hunter is killed meaning your alts would die quick, and the bog lords are basically giant Quagmirrans with the big aoe poison spray + some of them explode on death or spawn a half-dozen little elite bog lords that'll rape you silly on death and I won't even get into the Murlocs....*shudder*)

Most of these patterns are available on the AH though(not cheap obviously) but then again most of them aren't that good and they all require mats that drop in SSC anyways(heart of darkness or whatever it was); sunwell badge gear = t6 = superior

Never paid attention but if you don't kill all mobs in a pack and then wipe, do they all respawn again? (ie. blackwing lair style) - or could they be picked off one by one?

Yeah if you wipe the whole pack respawns, no burning one down for loot then coming back :p

You could probably buy a spot on trash pulls from some T5/6 raid guild though... something to keep in mind.
