I would just make two directories but definitely test it out. I'm not sure if the settings are game specific or acc't specific. I'm currently running two folders, 1 for my main (she has all the good addons too!) and 1 for my alts (they have minimum addons). I have all their video settings all the way down and my main's are maxed. Granted, they are on seperate computers. Let us know what you find out. I'm curious to know how the video settings are set up.

Keyclone will run different resolutions from the same directory using maximiser.

how is it set up in maximizer within keyclone?

Different resolutions will be handled just fine by KeyClone and it's commands...

Different SETTINGS is a different story. IE: If you want your main to have a max clip plane and your alts to have a minimal clip plane, you need 2 copies of wow at the least.

Look in software settings and you can create junctions of your WoW install which will leave you with separate WTF folders but linked data files.
