hi all,

Im new to the multiboxing thing.

Currently im just using 2 accounts and multi-instancing, using keyclone and a few macros to move about.

Im getting used to it and killing things is fine, as is getting my other char to follow me, but im having problems with a few areas.

Questing - i have to alt-tab and pickup by clicking, the other quests for the char, as well as for handing in. is there any easier way to do this?
Looting- my main windowed char can loot fine and its on free for all, so it isnt an issue, except on guest items. Is there anyway for my other char to loot, without me having alt tab and click?

any help would be appreciated,

thanks.

I think there's a couple options but they require specific setups/settings, but for the most part no...autolooting would be too close to automated actions; there are shortcuts though, such as taking a quest on your main, hitting share, then pressing an accept quest macro all your chars should have included in a "Big button" macro

Not really. You can minimize the problem somewhat doing a few things: use keyclone with pip and switch that way instead of alt-tab, share quests with an "accept" macro (or auto-accept mod) for getting the quests.

There's a thread somewhere in the forums, not able to find it right off, that describes something like what you're looking for. Not sure how well it works, basically you just have to switch and loot.

What you will find is that you get pretty good at doing it, and while I won't claim that it doesn't suck, it becomes pretty second-nature after a while.
