Well, it was a long grind from 61 to 68, in which I reached many milestones. I found that level 70 gankers could no longer kill me easily at one point, then a few days later I found that level 70 gankers could no longer kill me at all. A little bit later, (Around 65) I learned that level 70 gankers started to avoid me, which was a happy day for me. I finally hit 68, where I feel comfortable stepping foot in battlegrounds again. While it would have been easy for me to go into Arathi at 61, and I probably could have got a kill or two, I felt that my high profile playstyle came with a responsibility to make sure not to negatively affect my fellow Horde players. I went into AV, my old stomping grounds, because it's a generally low-risk area for a multiboxer. However, going up against season 3 geared pvp players was a tough cookie - I could not solo-defend towers or wipe Galv attacks like I used to be able to. But that didn't bother me - I have my 100 AV tokens in my bank, and plenty of honor points to pick up a lot of pvp gear at 70. So, I started my grind for the other tokens. To date, I have not lost a single battleground at 68. I forgot that I haven't done the "small battlegrounds" since I spent a half month farming AV and honing my skill. With all my experience, AB in particular has turned into a real killfest. I ride straight to the Stables at the beginning of the game, take it, and watch them all start rezzing at their hall. Then I stand next to the gate and mow them down as they try to ride past. With mana potions, I can stay there and hold 8-10 alliance at their hall pretty much indefinately, giving the other 10 players on the team free reign of the 5 nodes with very little resistance. Here's the result of the fun!

I decided a while ago that i would not lvl to 70 staight away, but get all my marks for AB WSG and EotS before i hit 70. mainly because any bad playing on my part would not sour lvl 70 ppl (unless there were some twinks).

When I do finally hit AB I will be following your advice on the early rush as much as possible. It sounds like something that would work in pre 70 BGs, simply because there are likely to be undergeared lower lvl players for the mark grind. I'm looking at marks and honour as completely separate atm.

marks pre 70, honour at 70 in AV..

and btw :) gz on 68!! keep it up :)

You are a bad man :D

Quick question: What are those frames next to your unit frame?

PallyPower. Never play a paladin without it. :)

My current record is killing a 70 at level 49 with my 5x warlocks. ;)

I do recall a few times with my shammies that I just grouped with one of Suvega's 70 mages and laid a bunch of grounding totems while he would beat up the people ganking me. Invincible mage. ;)
