Ok, so im going to level 1x Warrior and 4x Ele shammans
would be be almost faster to single level them to 13 and then just start hitting instances hard, or just do quest spam till 13 and then hit instances hard, or just do quest spam until 70

First hint: Warriors/Druids don't make good boxer Tanks; Palas work better as the 4shaman dps tends to outaggro the single target tanks, while Consecration = mobs stuck to pala like glue ;p
Personally, I quest the whole way up and run each instance as needed at the appropriate levels...others do nothing but instance grind, pretty much up to you whichever one you prefer or can stand lol

Grab the QuestHelper addon with a supporting map addon and go crazy with the questing.
Also, for that particular group makeup I would second the suggestion of a paladin instead of war (multi mob aggro control is *very* important if you're not rolling with crowd control).

I ran a Warrior tank in my first group that I leveled to 53. I wanted to try a Warrior mostly because I had the most experience with one, and it was FUN! Now that I'm using a Pally tank, I can say that he is much easier at holding aggro, so it's working out very well. One disadvantage is that I can't use ranged weapons so I'm going to have to body pull until LV 50, but it's not as bad as I first thought it would be.
As far as early leveling goes, I 3-boxed my human Pally/Priest/Mage and single-boxed my Druid and Shaman to 16/17. It's painful, but I don't know of any better way.

Just make your Pala an Eng and bam, you have ranged explosives to pull with ;) Only other ranged he can use is vs Undead(Aka, deadmines only) or Linken's Boomerang until you get Avenger's Shield or whatever the triple-hit shield skill was.
