After participating in some WoW-endgame-slamfest threads today I decided to start looking around (again). I found Aion out on mmorpg.com and it /looks/ stunning but I've been fooled before (hello Lineage2?). Wanted to know if anyone had been following this game or been in the closed beta? I'm kind of skittish when it comes to NCSoft but the game sure looks nice. Problem is with all of these is that no one posts the stuff that really matters, and usually it's hard to figure out what the endgame is like until you've already played for 10+ days (120 hours).

Thanks for any replies!

Yes, it looks awesome and I'm very much looking forward to it. I first hear about it from the FoH forums, and I've been keeping my eye on it ever since. Not sure if I'll try to multibox it or just play normally, but I'll be playing for sure when it comes out in the US.

www.aionsource.com is the English aion community hub. It has tons of great info.

Speaking of Lineage2 though, I've been looking at it a bit lately, and from what I can tell it would be pretty much impossible to multibox it, maybe even with mouse broadcasting.
Seems you have had some experience with this game, what are your thoughts? (looks like you didn't like it at least)

elo, that is.

To keep with the topic here though, Aion looks amazing, please share more thoughts and info about it as you find it :)
Think it will be good for multiboxing?

Aion is visually amazing, and the story is actually pretty cool. How the game plays and such, I have no idea :( Though some of the basic concepts sound cool.

One thing I don't like, is that all I see is combat stuff, fighting things...

If you tried to sell me WoW by showing me how cool combat was, I'd tell you to fuck off.
