Hi guys, I'm totally new to multi-boxing, I've seen it working in WoW back when I was playing it but I wasn't interested at the time..
now that I am back playing swg after a long time, I wanted to give it a shot, but I tried with octopus, single pc dual boxing, and it isn't working for me, I've tried searching around for info but I din't find nothing :(
does anyone know if it's possible to multibox swg, and with which software?

Thank you ;)

Two hours isn't much time to wait....

A few minutes of Google time shows that some people have multiboxed SWG, but there is nothing I found as a framework for attempting to do it.

Never played it, some guys I work with have, but none of them multibox since they spend all of their extra $$$ at the bars.....

I did the tradition Alt-Tab multiboxing in SWG for a while, found that it wasn't necessary for leveling in the game... very easy to solo as is. The only reason I did it was to have the extra slots for Housing and Manufacturing.

yes you can multibox SWG... and it has a macro system from hell (hell you could do complete game automation back in the day with it) but i believe with the current system you have to be able to right click to fire off specials so it probably wouldn't be a very nice experience ... and besides i haven't found anything i cant kill in SWG given enough room to run....

I'd really like to pass clicks and keystrokes, the best I've been able to do is dual-logging and alt-tabbing.
I've tried octopus and some other random free programs, it just won't pass clicks/keys in the game, while it seems to work in character log-in screen.
Any suggestion about how to make it work in game too?

ps. btw you don't need to right click to fire specials, it's like wow targeting + quickkey to fire from toolbar

The key thing to look for to successfully multibox any game are

Keybindings - Mouse replication is currently terrible, we need to button press Follow - If you can't follow you are going to hate it, unless cat herding is your hobby Assist - If you can't assist a "Brain" then targeting isn't going to be easyI am sure you can multibox without those three things but I am also sure the experience would be a lot worse than soloing.

Well I think swg can handle follow and assist, and I think I shouldn't have any problem in using only keyboard. The problem is getting to press for example f1 on char A and have it cloned to char B, I've had no luck in doing this with any program :(

Being a Sony game I wouldn't be surprised if you had to go with Innerspace to get key injection working between instances

yep I've read about eq2 too..maybe I should try innerspace or wait for keyclone get fixed
