Hello, i was wondering if i wanted too multibox 2 mages like when ever i Press W like i run the clone runs too...Is this supposed too happen and How do i multibox 2 seperate classes Can anyone give me a Guide on how too like do all that stuff?

if you are using keyclone, check the FAQ submenu on the tool tray icon (right-click menu)

basically, you want to add your movement keys to the do-not-pass list and set up a /follow macro for your alt

In answer to your pm, try looking up...there are approximately 10 threads here under the announcement section including ones entitled "Beginners Guide 2 Dual-Boxing (3,4,5 boxing)", "Simple Dual Boxing FAQ / Wiki" and "How to Box 5 accounts (or 2 or 3 or 4) with ONE computer".

If you can't even find them then to be honest you will have issues with multiboxing. Go and read them and then if you have further questions that you feel aren't answered by you taking the effort to look and learn feel free to ask.

No-one here multi-glides, we multi-box. Multi-boxing is perfectly legal, using glider is totally illegal and will get you banned.

Getting exactly the same gear comes from 3 ways:
1. Picking the same item for each character as quest rewards when given the option
2. Crafted items
3. Run instances over and over until you get the drop from each boss enough times.

That question always is annoying, no-one goes around asking 5 random shaman that are wearing the same gear how they did it yet as soon as a multi-boxer team has the same gear there is something nefarious about it.

Welcome yoseph,

as Simulacra mentioned, the Wiki is the best place to get information, it has a Getting Started ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/wiki/index.php/Getting_started') section, which I have just seen is not that relevant and needs fleshing out.

Perhaps the best info for you now is the Macros ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/wiki/index.php/Macros') section.

The basic tenets are that you have one active instance of wow know as your main, brain, targetter etc and all the others, whether there is 1,2, 5 or 10 are followers.

The followers must follow (/follow) the main character... if you try to actively move the main and followers at the same time, they will diverge and you will feel like you are herding cats.

In order to kill things you must assist your main character (/assist) and then pass the keys to both windows for the spell you want to cast.

This is all, of course, at the most basic level. Read the wiki it is a distillation of the information in these forums... don't both with the stickies, they are out of date and are in the process of being consolidated into the wiki, after which they will be removed (we have to get the community to use the wiki more).
