I'm sure this has been asked before but I'm curious and it will solve an argument between a friend and I. I personally think there are more Horde EU players than Alliance EU. And more Alliance US than Horde US. Ocianic falls under US for this exercise.
If you play both, please choose the one you most feel comfortable playing.

Horde through and through... I played ally once but I didn't inhale
I've played Alliance since I started playing last March and yet, I'm all for the Horde. So yeah, definitely US Horde. The Alliance on my battlegroup has become unbearable.

Grab your Sword and Fight the Horde! :P Most people go Horde because simply put the game favors them in racials and bg maps; I can't stand their levelling areas or cities though, I feel more comfortable in IF than Org and half the people I know are alliance, so yea I'm alliance most of the time :p

HORDE FTW!
I've only used alliance to move stuff through Booty Bay neut AH...
Or to spy out the zones my Horde are in to see what I'm up against.

I wish I played Horde. Alliance is a bunch of stupid ass little kids and it's annoying as hell.

I play alliance on a pve server (US) only becuase that is where my first toon was. In hindsight, I probably would have gone horde on a pvp server.

I've never seen a difference in maturity or stupidity on either side. Everyone seems just as retarded to me.
Only other thing that annoys me about Alliance is browsing the auction house and watching the night elf next to me hop for 18 minutes.

Minty, what's worse, that they hopped for 18mins or you sat there and counted how long? :P
I've seen some really stupid things said and done in both factions...but it does seem like alliance loses pvp more often..but that's just my experiences lol, doesn't mean they always win but most pug games I've run on both sides they usually did lose regardless of what side i was on. WSG especially I rarely see a horde loss, in AV it's a little more even(even though the map layout is very horde-friendly), though AB tends to be even"ish", the path to BS is definently quicker/shorter on the horde side since their bridge isn't halfway across the fucking island lol

On PVP , I think a lot of it comes down to play time. If you play pvp more and know your toon well and work as a team, done deal. smaller pops on servers seem to get more pvp exp. (ganked more) lol. anyways I have played both sides good and bad on each.

I've been Alliance since release, but I do have 4 Horde 60+ mostly because friends decided "its the new cool!". I've alwasy gone back to Alliance.
I have found an attitude difference between Alliance and Horde, as have friends. I've found Alliance to be more retarded, useless & whiney bitchy little girls than Horde. Yet I still play Alliance - I'm so sad.

I marked I swing both ways ... well because I do but then the Alliance / Horde on my server are pretty much the same. However I would say it depends on the server you play on. Some servers one side or the other are defiantly worse. Sadly unless you can have someone vouch for there side without bias on that server its kinda a crap shoot whether or not you get it right.

For me it was a remarkable change. I started out as an alli (RL friend started playing there, but he left later on) and when I switched servers and sides (maybe it's just server based) I was amazed at the difference. Ppl seemed friendly and were very helpful. a huge contrast to the nightly bickering I was almost getting used to on the allis side (general chat) I've never looked back.

Playing alliance is like playing with the children from South Park, Family Guy, American Dad, Venture Brothers, and/or The Simpsons. Playing horde is like playing with the adults from said programs.

I lol'd, Big. Especially since the "adults" like Peter and Homer aren't any better ;)

I wonder how popular a paid faction change would be?

I would pay for it on all 12 of my toons.

I'd consider paying for it on Mag...I'm not getting rid of my druid/rogue/shamen...only problem would be leaving the friends I have there to join the rest of the boxers :p Though a problem in general would be faction-specific items, faction-specific rep, the list of issues with this would be miles long lol

Lots of 70s on an Alliance PvP server, but all the podcasts make me wonder if I should have rolled Horde. They all seem to think the Horde lore is deeper. Ah, well.
