Weird shift-sending problem with keyclone

I've just recently started multiboxing and tried a free keycloning-tool while I waited for my paypal to verify. It worked, crudely but yes, sent all the keys.

I then got the real deal, keyclone.. and installed. Was thrilled to see how neat the program seemed to be and proceeded to buy a second keyclone to install on
another computer to use as slave for my two other chars. Everything seems to work fine with or without maximizer, except for one most confusing detail, the shift-
and ctrl-modifiers will not pass to the slave machine, HOWEVER if I use shift on the slave machine the modifier is sent to the master. It's a bit tricky with commands
like /follow and /assist without being able to send the shift-7 that gives /. At first I thought my program Mutliplicity was to blame (stardock multiplicity, to control
the other computer) but even as I unloaded and rebooted the problem persisted.

Could it be something else with my master machine that stops it from sending shift- and ctrl-modifiers to keys ? I've downloaded the latest keyclone and removed all
the files from previous versions ( only the february-release )

yes, it has been identified numerous times today (amazing how everyone hits the same bug on the same day)

any luck on this? im using the newest version... 1.8j with AoC and on the main machine my alt and shift keys dont pass over to the slave machine, but the slave machine passes the alt and shift keys to the main.

edit: btw the do not pass has nothing in it, this is from fresh installs of keyclones
