Has anyone given some serious thought to a multiboxed raid?

I'm not talking about 10-25 man boxing here, but getting 5 5-box multiboxers together and attempting content. I mean, I don't imagine people having a great deal of success boxing with 20 other people in anything but a "we're farming and are a few bodies short" context. I know Vyndree and Suvega boxed Kara up to Curator, don't know if they got farther. Just seems to me if we formed a raid entirely of multiboxers devoted to raiding, we could probably do fairly well based on coordination alone.

I think the main thing is you need to find 5 people who can control their 5 characters pretty well, are all interested in pushing PvE. I think maybe if you found those 4-5 people with 4-5 chars, you'd still need to rely on a few normal people, because in the end, people get bored, have life to attend to or just cant show up that night. 1 person can't log on? Your 5 people short.

The only place this might happen is on Magtheridon. Other than there, multiboxers are too spread out between servers.

:D I might be up for something crazy like this... been thinking about a BE team Pally, Priest, Mage x3. tho some SSC and TK might be hard to pull off due to needing multi tanks and healers.. but ZA and kara would be easy to do. Anyone on Mag's server up for actually pulling this off? PM before i pick a server for my BE team :D

This may be a little under what you are looking at but a few of my friends will try this soon for Kara. I 3 box DPS. A friend has Prot Warrior and Pally (2 tanks... i know). Another has a Shammy Healer and Pally tank, he will probably spec ret, and the last one has a healer and 3 DPS (he will bring 2), so we have 4 people forming a 10man. Should be a blast;)

i think once we all get to 70 then forming a raid will not be a problem. I think the PVP is on a hit n miss situation for most of us. But when we do get together its a riot. On Magtheridon alone I have seen 2 groups in action and when we managed to get 3 more groups it was over. Cant wait to see what would happen to alliance when we can get 25 together in one area. And thats only 5 actual players. Imagine what it will be like when we can round up over 10 players in one area. The forums most likely will be crying over this. Most wont consider what it took for those to get to level 70 with 5 toons.
