I am curious to what you guys are wearing on your pally tanks.

My pally is wearing this: http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Magtheridon&n=Sangiovese

I need to get him some upgrades to make tanking heroics easier. I landed three good upgrades the other night. T4 helm, belt, and libram. I am hoping those give me some breathing room in heroics with my group.

"My" pally tank was wearing mostly just Dungeon 3 + epic shatar shield + gnomergon auto-blocker badge trinket

If you've got T4 - you should be set.

Well I saw you have a healer thats 1800 healing. My shaman healer is only about 1050 so thats a big difference in healing. Did you run your guy in some kara runs to get healing gear?

My gear is in flux, so my stats are off a bit at the moment (overcapped on defense mainly) but here's where I'm at. Should be getting a Belt of the Guardian this weekend, then I'll be aiming for more HP while saving badges for gear... my healer is keeping me from doing many heroics, not my tank. Hmm, maybe I will sneak the resto shammy in a Kara badge run for a shot at some upgrades :)

Works well enough for what I do. Not really much of a need to avoid crushing blows in 5-mans.

Hmm, ~21% combined dodge/parry/block... seems really low. Do you run heroics with this gear setup?

I can do any heroic with 0 cc (I need cc for mr.t) in this gear. Makes running heroics really fast and easy mode.

I can tank bosses in ZA, SSC, TK no problem. Haven't tried anything higher.

At some point I would like to work up to this gear. It would make doing heroics much easier.

All done with the multibox team. Works well enough for the PvE we do, should be pretty decent for Heroics I guess but we haven't tried yet.

Yeah. Trash doesn't crush, and I run with a holy Priest and Elemental Shaman who both have their big heal bound to the same key. Bosses are largely pathetically easy, and trash is just relearning which pulls have ridiculous moves. Thus far, I've mostly run Magister's Terrace, and upping your avoidance their doesn't do much since all the nasty damage is magic. Going to start working on an avoidance set though.
