Trying to figure out where I should spend my time practicing / gearing my shaman. Im running the standard prot pali + 4 ele shaman(may respec 1 resto)
Currently Ive got on farm:
1st boss Ramps
2nd Boss Ramps
1st Boss SP
2nd Boss SP
Ive tried and failed at:
3rd boss SP
1st boss mech(not the mini bosses) heard this is quite easy but trash in there is doing my head in.
currerntly 4 badges a day seems a bit low, Id like to get it nearer to 10 so any and all advice is very welcome :)
Hey post your toon names and realm so we can have a look on armory. :)

The last boss in SP should be easy if you have poison cleansing totem bound to a key on your main char (or an alt char but with a stopcasting on that char before placing it.), and whenever he does the aoe poison, immidiatly drop the totem (stop your current cast for it.) All the while being close to each other, yet in a bit of a cirlce.
Just a tip, I've not tried the end boss as a multibox on heroic so can't judge that well, but I have done it plenty as a shaman solo playing. And dropping poison cleansing straight up really saves the day. (As well as taking the druids NR buff and putting down the NR totem.)

full ramp full SP full steamvault... 1st in MT and sethekk. 11 badges/day
if you wanna get more badges you can do the 2 first in bota aswell tho beware of spellreflect.
in ramp use your pally as tank on 1st boss, on 2nd boss just stand togheter. use groundings and wrath totems and youll kill him before the noob aura is casted... 3rd boss you might need to skip your paly and get a mage or somethin. anyways i use to stomp totems in the middle of the circle before i kill the last guard, then i just stomp earth eles and nuke the dragon 1st (in the air) if your low on dps just do some pvp for a bit of upgrades.
this is my daily route since its a fast run and easy too...
good luck and hope it helps

I agree, having done it myself recently... respec a Shaman to Resto and you'll have a much easier time with things.
Just make yourself some stopcasting + heal macros like:
/stopcasting
/cast [target=focus] Healing Wave
or however you do your targeting. Then you can keep DPSing on trash and heal as needed, on bosses I just drag off my DPS macros from my resto Shaman and do 100% healing.

One thing worth mentioning : The last bosses of SP and Ramp aren't just 1 extra badge each, they drop descent elemental shammy epics.
Another boss worth farming is the first boss of MGT. (yes normal is a pain to do for the attunement) He drops a really nice dagger.
The trash is a real pain until u get it right, but doable. The boss himself is also pretty easy, i let my tank build aggro for 3secs, then pop fire elems. (GotN on the tank here if draenei) Then pop heroism, and start DPS on the crystal the second he starts drawing from it. (you should get it down before he reaches 40%) when he starts AoEing, tank him in your group and do a couple of chain heals to keep the group up. He should be dead by the time he is done drawing from the second crystal.
This is the heroics i farm each day for epics and badges. If i have time for more badges i do botanica.
Another great tip in general for heroics is that you have ALOT of heroism/bloodlust use them on any pulls with 4 or more mobs. You only need a maximum of 2 on a boss anyhow.

I tried this, but in Heroics the tank needs near-constant healing (Druid or Pally). So I pretty much never DPS with my Resto shaman in instances. Well, sometimes I drop a searing totem... :P
Right, I meant to say put the /stopcasting macros on your DPSers (at least I cannot solo heal with just 1 resto shammy on Heroics yet).
But on some trash pulls, especially when you have most of the mobs down, I like to throw some DPS with my resto shammy too just to finish the fight faster.
BTW on trash I use Flametongue from Resto Shammy instead of Searing as it helps with aggro on my Paladin tank and is reliable unlike Windfury (which probably adds more threat over time, but you're not guaranteed a proc). I do drop Windfury instead on bosses where I don't need 4x Grounding since you can give more time to build up a threat lead.

Yep... I'm at only 1100ish buffed so I have a bit of a hard time healing with just 1 char, and have to toss in some quick LHW from time to time to keep up on the harder pulls. :(

1st boss in Mana Tombs is pretty easy with a tank + shammy group ( with right gear ). Its a pure shadow resist fight for the MT, my MT is made up of various green xxx of Shadow Protection gear. Giving about 11k hp, and 375 Shadow resist, means that he hard takes any dmg at heroic level. And grounding totems are a must. Not much trash either, so about 15-20 mins for that badge.
1st and 2nd boss of Slave Pens are pretty doable as well, haven't tried 3rd yet
1st boss of Mechanar, just make sure you purge or when the do the enrage buff.
3rd boss of Mechanar (drops epics as well) is not a lot different from normal. As long as you have ranged dps, the Arcane explosion doesn't do much dmg, and that mind control is irritating but not a problem. Generally for me is a dps race to 20%, then easy from there. takes approx 45secs to reach that point if nothing goes wrong
1st boss of Ramparts ( haven't tried 2nd n 3rd yet ). Pretty easy tank and spank fight
All 3 bosses in Steamvault aren't a lot different from normal as well, but admittedly, a Paladin with consecration makes 2nd boss easy as pie
Haven't tried the rest properly, usually takes me a few wipes to learn positioning and techniques. And I've noticed, as the gear gets better (for the MT) the fights get a little easier.
So, thats approx 7-8 badges / day per toon.

Ive been practicing 3rd boss on ramps for a bit now and cant get the damn dragon down :( so far I tried..
1) pali on orc, shaman alts following / asissting main shaman nukng dragon... dragon fireballed them, they died quick :(
2) DPSing orc down... this works with fire ele down to take some of the dragons fireballs and help with DPs but i ran into mana problems and forgot i had mana pots and mana tide totem in the heat of the moment oops :(
best so far was tactic (2) think this will work if i remmember pots n tide totem, got dragon to about 30%

The last boss in ramparts can be really easy for a shaman group. You should be able to do this with your group. I run with 5 shamans but I use one wrath of air totem so I only have 4 grounding totems. It’s pretty much the strat on the wiki for 5 shaman group.
Start by pulling the first 2 guys back up the ramp so you don’t agro the orc. After that stay in range of your grounding totems and you won’t be hit by the fireballs. I normally (slowly) walk my way down the ramp based on my grounding totem cool down.
Once at the bottom I just stand in a corner and slowly dps down the dragon. If you are having mana problems you can just sit here and regen. You taken no damage and don’t have to move because of the grounding totems. You can move around with the dragon and dps faster however I just take it slow.
When the dragon is around 35% blow all of your trinkets. At that point he lands and I use the earth totems. I think you should be able to use your pally taunt and finish off his last 20% or so.

Here is a trick to make the demon boss in Bot easy as pie. Start off your team as close as you can without aggroing him. I center my group in front of him really close. I lay my totems out and send the pally in. I tank him in the middle of the sac alter and where I left my guys. After every sac you have to taunt him back to the middle. Once he sacs a guy just heal that person the few seconds he takes damage. What this does is lines your team up so you have those not saced facing the alter and those saced facing your other guys. Just make sure you taunt after every sac and keep him in the middle and it should be very easy.
The flower boss is a pain in the ass for me. I still have not figured out an easy way to do him yet. If anyone has one for a Tank, Healer 3dps team post it please.

You must be talking about normal mode. In heroic grounding totems do nothing, and the dragon will destroy your group quickly if you don't get him down FAST. (meaning kill the rider fast so he lands)
Sorry fur, but for once you are wrong, will fraps it tonight and post here.

Kind of cheezy, but for the 1st boss of SV you can hide in a crack on the right side of the room and avoid all the clouds.

I did him last weekend, and grounding totems work fine. They do only absorb the fireballs, not his breath, but the fireballs are the dangerous part anyway. I just did it the standard way; nuking the boss until the dragon lands, grab it, use chain lightning to finish off the boss, then dance slowly around in a circle to avoid the short-range flames. It was actually way easier than when I did the place on normal.

Just tried botanica, damn this place is easymode!
Thought Id give it a try as the last boss was the daily heroic, though I didnt think Id get that far I gave it a shot anyway.
1st boss - easy, DPSed him down before he summoned adds
2nd boss - easy DPSed him down ignoring adds
3rd boss(the satar) i skiped, heard it was a nightmare
4th boss - did this guy last as wanted to try the end boss as it was the daily kill mob, thugh he wa easy too, just DPSed him down no tactic at all
5th boss - yup u guessed it, DPSed him down. i did drop a chain lightning when adds spawned and used fire ele for some extra dmg.
Now considering, I have never even been to botanica normal before, have less than 600 spell dmg on shammies, my pali isnt uncrushable with only 11k HP, and I only resepced a shammy to resto a day or so back so his gear is the worst of all (about 800 healing) I was seriosly shocked. it definatly was my skills thats for sure, i literaly did a normal tank and spank on everything i saw haha

1st boss in SV i use to stand at maxrange stomp totems + earth eles pop bloodlust and then i nuke as hard as i can on her (dont care about adds) ,when she cast the cloud i just run through it and turn around and dps the last bit of her...
i have all my EM + trinkets in my CL macro so 1st i shoot 1 LB and then trinket+EM+CL and continue to spam LB untill shes dead.
2nd boss i stand at max range stomp my fire totems (since he doesnt hurt much) and just pop BL LB EM+CL and after that its just a LB spam.
3rd boss is like the first just watch for spellreflect (spellreflect is perfect for a chain heal since i use to get shorter aggro from him and get hit on some char)
tho on this boss i use to use 2X bloodlust because of tanks and spellreflect.
hope it helps.
1 thing ive noticed is that when i first got my battlemaster trinket i thought the use effect were kinda sucky since i'd pref dmg BUT the HP buff have saved me wery many times from being killed IE on sethekk 1st boss sometimes all adds hit on 1 char and you'd need to cast a heal but with the trinket it have never happened.

I LOVE YOU! That bitch would be hit or miss depending on where she wanted to blizzard. That little crack in the wall works great. I am going to run it on Heroic now. I was afraid because I had to deal with this whore.

If you have a 5 box team of 1 pally and 4 shammy and respec 1 to resto, then you have only 3 dps. Is that enough in those 5m instances?

Vazreden - the last boss in Heroic Ramps just owned me.
But in a kind of interesting, non-intuitive, never-gonna-beat him kind of way. Super.
He was the daily today so I thought I'd go for it. Pulled and killed the two guards far enough back so the rider didn't aggro. Went to the edge to DPS down the dragon, dropping grounding totems as often as I could. Seemed to work about 50% of the time because at some point he killed my healer with a fireball even though 2 groundings were up (I glanced up to make sure we had the grounding buff when my healer died). No problem, I'll just run out and reset, I thought. He had other ideas. Kept fireballing me as I ran back across the bridge... to the spiral ramp down... out past the bottom of the ramp... I was almost to the area where I killed the first boss by the time he finally fireballed my last toon. Of course, fireballs where going through multiple walls and everything many times by then. Was kinda funny to see.
But no problem, I'll just reincarnate and rez up and head back to him again. So I got my team all ready and went back - only to see the rider standing in the middle but no dragon. Killed the rider, went to the chest - unclickable. Guess I got owned.
So just a heads up - if you want to try the strategy of pulling the dragon and rider seperately, you've only got one shot. And groundings are not 100%, at least in heroic.

Check here please so you can see what I do for each one. Still haven't uploaded them all but there's already a few.
In one evening I do without many problems from 7 to 13 Badges, depending on the time available (SP+UB in a bit less than 2 hours and Mecha 3 Bosses + 3 Bota bosses in about 2-2.5 more hours).
http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=virghus&search_type=&aq=f
Trash in Mana Tombs is so easy, I'm not able to down first boss though and sometimes (don't ask me why :p) I down the 2nd Boss and last one is easy.
Haven't tried last 2 Botanica bosses yet.
All the rest I haven't tried so far, having full geared the group I'm now finishing farming the 75k honor for the incoming S4.
But I guess there must be some more easy bosses like some mentioned in this post too :).
Having problems with Thesp too :/ Where is that crack? Need ;) because the other boss is very easy and I guess I'll love the last too :).
Any hints for the Mecha boss that summons the fire elems? Thank you.
