Well, hit 70 last night after starting the five fingers on feb 2nd and ended up with a played time just over 16 days for them which, given my usual 1-70 of 8 days solo, means I saved myself about 24 days played over leveling them sequentially so I'm happy.

Now though, the real grind start for faction, gear, enchants, money, mounts and fun. My plans and some thoughts on things I have noticed during the multiboxing time are up on my blog (which of course EVERYONE should read :)) but main timeline is to get into farming heroics by end of july and grind out enough badges overall to fully kit everyone out in sunwell vendor gear (think it's about 1k badges at 10 a day average though since some of the Shat'tar bedge gear is better for some classes/slots I may need less) and grind enough gold to be able to get epic flying + the CE mounts for all and any boe raid recipes that I need.

Have a lot of work ahead, hopefully I won't get burnt out on it but if I feel I need a break I'll probably just spend time leveling up my 5 tauren shaman (if Boom ever lets me into twenty totems :p) and start it all over again after being surprised and inspired by Veronika's videos and how easy she makes it look with the pew pew.

Grats on 70, had a quick look over your blog too. i think Blogs are great as you can see in more detail some of the problems people are having.

On a side note, go for that higher paid job, seems you don't like the one your in currently too much anyways. :P

Good luck on the grind. I'm still faffing about with group set-ups and theory crafting.

Cripes, thats ~5.3 hours a day, every day. Crazy times! I wish I had that sort of time, but alas, the wife always has a reason for me to play less time. Grats on 70... I feel so close too

Well in my defense I did take 2 weeks off work over easter that was devoted almost entirely to leveling the guys and catching up on some xboxing I'd neglected :)...but yes, sadly I am one of those no-life single white overweight nerds everyone would stereotype a wow multiboxer as, and I'm almost ok with that (though I'm not sure what's sadder, that I'm almost ok with it or that I'm not upset about it). After a day at work and the commute home I pretty much can't be bothered going out again (and I hate the idea of wasting $50 or more to listen to music I already own at home just so I can hang out with friends and not be able to interact with them at all due to the oudness) so I like a nice relaxing few hours of unwinding while keeping my mind active either multiboxing wow or multi-tabling poker.

I truely do envy people that complain about not having enough time to devote to hobbies etc because they have to spend time with their wife/gf but meh, I doubt I can change at my age...so let this be a lesson to you all, either get out there and start hooking up or turn into an old cynical self-doubter that does nothing but plays with computers all their life....if only we could all find our Vyndree to our Suvega :D

Haha nice reply. I'm pretty much a closet nerd... I get out as much as I can with friends (bars, sports, etc) but I like to spend a Friday night doing 6-8hrs of WoW sometimes. Ever since my wife started living with me (a few months before getting married), I realized that you just can't "disappear" into the computer cave and not come out. It has its positives and its negatives :)

Thanks all, and for the comments about the blog. Wasn't sure initially if I should keep it just as a wow blog or as a personal blog and decided I might as well keep it as personal since people can use the tags to filter to just the wow content if they want, or the poker, or the personal etc. Figure the flexibility gives the best of both worlds in the end.

heheh thanks, have already created a 5 druid group on PM just to see how it goes, plus the 5 stealthed character group gives some interesting possibilties, along with a 4 more shaman to go with Baanmee if I decide I want to run 5 shaman at times, and a pal + 4 shaman group on horde side just in case :D....think that will give me enough to do

Gratz with the 70 :)

hehehe, I actually pointed the entire unit to the blog the day after I read it. We had our monthly group meeting and we always have a time at the end to go over everyone and ask what's making them happy or pissed off. I had told my senior manager I was going to raise the issues I posted about at the meeting and it was suggested most strongly that it wasn't the time or place to do so, so when it got to my what's pissing me off I was just like "Well I can't talk about it here but if anyone cares, just go to my blog at http://www.gen-xxx.com" :)
