i did it in 9 days 5 hours...on a 3box .... warrior,shaman,paladin...
your best?
5 Boxing.... the warlocks are 45... with about 8 days played. I tend to idle rather than log out because I don't want to lose mage water.
I expect to hit 60 within about 12 days played and 70 within 15 - 17, depending on how much I grind and how much I enjoy the experience.
Of course, I already know all of the 1-60 instances.... and soulstones mean no running back.
Leveling up 5 characters is much tougher than a single one (obviously). Not much synergy and even with group bonus, exp is being split 5 ways.
If a highly optimized player can do a single character in 5 days /played - a highly optimized 5 boxer could do it somewhere around 10, perhaps a little less.
To my knowledge, nobody has actually optimized a multibox leveling run.

We need a volunteer to strip Joanna's guide of collection quests and throw some other juicy stuff in there:)

I have both guides as well, and Brian's guide is great, except at level 45 where there's nothing except "Do Uldaman". Still working my way through Joana's atm.

Watch out when you use the Joana and Kopp guides, they don't like people taking their "intellectual property" Sure, use it as a base, but I'd suggest a complete re-write from head to toe, including marking up the maps yourself.
I know of one person who has been sued by Joana for hosting a guide similar to his.

My 4-mage group hit 70 in about 14 days /played. My 4-priest group hit 70 this past Saturday at 21 days /played, though I do have 300+ enchanter/miner/skinner/herbalist and all 4 are 285+ tailors, so I did spend quite a bit of time leveling professions. ;)

A friend has a path that chinese goldfarmer mages use for hordeside, that's as close as it gets for level 1-14 at least. After 14 it's basically AE farming all the way.
Sksus, how did you do it that fast? Pure grinding, questing, instance-elite grinding or a mix of everything?
(edit: Shaman quartet trials of mine reached level six in two hours. Naturally it was mostly getting AHK to work the way I wanted, scripting, macroing like mad)

I really think you have to do a mix of quests and instance grinding. Do whatever kill quests you can do for your level, then instance grind until more kill quests become available.
Basically use a leveling guide and just skip all the collection quests and add in the elite quests they skip out on.

Fastest to 1- 70 for me was like 5 days played (single account) Friend and I duo most of the grind.
Right now my 5 boxing I’m little over 5 days and I are 45. Lot of afk time in there setting up key bindings and such.

re on the joana/kopps guides. yah i wasnt goin to post word for word, but rather look throught all the quests and get a lil help from them. but i should should e-mail them and ask if its ok to.
IANAL - but I pay for them. That said - this is not legal advice. If you want that - get an attorney yourself. Seriously. I could be COMPLETELY wrong.
There is what is known as thin copyright. It has to do with lists or compilations of facts. I think if one were to take the base raw quest order list, strip it down and modify it substantially, add their own diagrams and walk throughs and make it an entirely new body of work then there seems to me that there would be little grounds for winning a lawsuit. It would help of course if one distributed it for free :)
However. I have sued and been sued in federal court. I have been forced to sue individuals and companies over the dumbest things. Simply because you are dead to right does not mean you are indemnified from having a case brought against you for the dumbest of reasons - and are forced to foot a six figure legal bill just to defend yourself.

If you'd based yours on theirs, using just the quest list, adding in elite quests (which you can do if you're grouped) and making your own maps, diagrams etc, I seriously doubt they'd mind, or have grounds to sue you if they did.
If anyone wants to do it but is worried about legal issues, then base it from this guide: http://www.wow-pro.com/node/754 Jame has a fair few levelling guides and the ones I've used are excellent, and free...

i did only quests, no grinding sessions.... instances only ( ms, ulda, zf, sunken temple (because of shaman q...) )
my MB are already have a tank an a healer...so it is very easy to find..2 dd´s for a ini run :)
...for lvlin i collected a quest row for me + plus circuits ways for every map....(compilation of much guides).....minimize collector qs and do every elite, 1drop or cover qs.... (i could optimize it..i think on this way 8 - 9 days are possible)
i did only that collector qs with an droprate of over 30% or with mass easy follow ups.
i think ...for xzin...if you did 4 new chars and one 70er equipped ...warlock or warrior...you could easy break the 6 days ingametime!
for example..if your single guy at lvl 39 and a 70er warrior..an cleans zf in 20 mins....you have a rate of around 70k exp/h...but..."thx to blizz btw"...if you have 4 x lvl 39 and a 70 warrior...you have nearly 110k exp/h...i cant believe it...but i try it....and it works...same for 4 guys and 1 70 on ms ...
so if someone wanna pimp 4 shamans easy....only ini runs with a equipped 70 warrior (high lvl weapons enough till first bc ini) .....at lvl 32 you got chain lightning, later cross heal.......perfect for ini runs till 70!
i will try it....i am grinding gold and equipp for my warrior, now!!! the world record ......are 6days 4h 1-70 (my actual information)....i try to break it :)
best regards......
ps.: sry for bad eng :)
edit:// there exists some guides ....for lvlin 1-70 in 6 days an a few hours...anyone know that guide? there collector qs included?
