You don't want to just /shoot because then you get out of sync.

Can you do the same "is casting" trick on wands since it's considered a spell?

/cast !shoot

Or....
/cast [target=party1target] !shoot
(wands party1 (party leader)'s target)

that works.. but only cast once

for wands you HAVE to target the mob for it to keep shooting

so

/target party1target
/cast shoot

i just use focus for all my toons, i think it cleans things up and makes life easier.

for example

/focus yourmaintoon

the main toon is put in focus which is basicly like /assist , except it auto updates targets

/cast [target=focustarget] !shoot

again... from my experience... that will only work for one cast of wands. If you want the toons to continue shooting you have to target the mob.

Or just spam the button. If you are wanding in the first place, you are probably not doing anything else anyway.

/target [target=focustarget]
/cast Shoot
/follow focus

that should do it (may be wrong on the shoot line )

does shoot take you out of follow?.. if so the follow line is for like when your moving.. but iof not you should be able to ditch the last line

No, shoot does not break follow.

Mine is:

/assist focus
/cast shoot

Can you do the same "is casting" trick on wands since it's considered a spell?

Sorry to bring back an old post, but I couldn't find a solution to a problem I faced in my first attempt at RFC.

My current group setup is 1Xpaladin, 1Xpriest, 3xMages. My primary attack button tells my mages to cast fireball, nothing to my tank, and currently /shoot to my priest. The problem with this is that if I spam the button the priest will start, stop, start, etc. wanding. Is there a macro that will do a "is casting" test?

What is the "is casting" check that is used for spells?

You don't have to have a macro to wand. It's not absolutely necessary. I have the shoot icon set to my hyphen key for all my toons since they're always attacking my main's target anyway. After they cast their first two volleys of spells, I hit "hyphen" and watch them all wand in unison. Switch target, wash, rinse, repeat. No it doesn't break /follow and I'm not drinking nearly as often as I used to because it saves a lot on mana. I'm wanding more than I ever did when I played a single toon.

I looked for "is castable" and I'm not finding it anywhere. I think I've seen something like that before but I'm not sure where.
