Great update! The focus follows mouse is much cleaner! :) I have an enhancement request for a subsequent version:
Add an option to change border color to indicate the current active override. Currently the only override setting that gets a visual indicator is the global override. The audio notifications are helpful, but a unique visual indicator for all override modes would be very useful. This will also remove confusion when the user has global override + {DNP|RR} override toggled.

I've found a bug that is quite annoying. I run a dual screen setup, with my main WoW window on the right at full screen, and the pip's on my left screen's right edge. Sometimes when I hit the hotkey to switch PIP, the full screen ends up on the left monitor and frame rates dropping drastically. Only way to remedy this is to open the keyclone settings and go to the maximizer, and hit apply. This will fix it at once, but it sometimes causes keyclone to crash (Vista x64).

Any thoughts?

Any chance of getting a dropdown or something in maximizer to select regions? I have a 3box, 4 box and 5 box setup that for the most part use different regions. If I need to go back and edit a region without deleting the regions above it I can not get to any of the earlier ones created (below). Currently I have just been editing the ini file which is easy enough, but hard to explain to a few people who I have been helping start multiboxing.

@wyneth

hmm... i'll have to check that out

@sventek
yes, maximizer profiles are on the list but i haven't started them yet. i have one new item i want to push out first, then the lock-in-foreground issue, after which i will get to the others.

just an FYI, the link to keyclone from the header menu bar still points to http://www.solidice.com/keyclone/db/keyclone_v1.8f_22mar2008a.exe.

I use dual monitors and clicking the mouse for whatever reason on the 2nd screen puts focus on the primary monitor. Much worse in my case =\

I've experienced that keyclone crashes, when using PIP .. It's like that standard message that pops on the middle of the screen, I am not sure how I can provide details if that's needed .. But I'd like to do so, if possible. I am running a single computer with 4 clients. It's a problem which occured after I got v1.8g.

Thanks for the wonderful software :-)

Creazil

PS. How come you can't use PIP anymore while "paused", it annoys me ;-) I used it alot when doing macros/ui and other things on a single client and had to switch between them.

howdy Creazil ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=User&userID=4222') and welcome to the forums!

yea, there was a case made for only allowing PiP swap when override is off.. then allows people to use the pip hotkeys while in override

as for the crash... that's probably a wow/ memory thing. are you spamming the swap when it dies?

I can't tell if this is my computer causing the issues, or a bug within Keyclone.

But here is some info.

Running two computers.

Main one is Vista 32, update works great, no problems at all on this machine. This copy of Keyclone connect too..

An older P4 2.4 single core, 1G ram, running XP Home SP2. I run WoW in windows mode, with all the graphics settings bottomed out. Previous versions of Keyclone ran with no problems at all. Once I updated to v1.8g every time a key is passed, Keyclone seems to stop responding. If I Ctrl-Alt-Del close Keyclone, then open it back up, it will work until the first key is passed.

I am not 100% sure on if it is every key pass, or just after a few. I was able to get off a few dots from both warlocks, but the slave keyclone was not working by the 2nd mob (3 passed keys later). Once I get a chance I will try to do some more testing to pin point where or what is triggering the problem. Might not be today, have a wedding to go to.

Changed my setup today, previously 24" + 20" monitors, now it's one 30" monitor on which I play four accounts. Mouse still jumps around and one window becomes unresponsive when "focus follows mouse" is enabled, even though there is no secondary display anymore. :( Or is it due to the higher resolution (2560x1600)?

It works of course when the focus follows mouse option Windows itself offers is enabled. But that requires a reboot and I don't want to have it enabled all the time as it's a bit distracting.

I have the same issue on a single 16nnx1050 display. I put it down to "just a Vista issue" and turned off "focus follows mouse".

Are you running Vista?

Yup, Vista x64. If it's a Vista issue, it's the last one I can complain about. ;)
