I have only been boxing for a few weeks now, and I started out with three (two locks and a priest). As I leveled my little crew I started feeling something was wrong with my set up. It was the fact that I could be 5 boxing. So I started up two more trial accounts and performed a few tests on my computer to see if I had the harware to run five. About ten mintues into testing I decided 5 boxing was so much better than 3. So I activated those trial accounts and was on my way to 5 boxing.

Now I have 4 locks (all affliction) and a shadow priest. The only problem so far is having to catch the other two up with the main group, but that isn't taking too long. (the highest level is 33) I did some searching around the forums trying to get some info about the different templates for my crew and have seen some mix reviews on the different setup. My plan is to go full affliction on the locks, with some points in different skills to maximize my overall effectiveness. And have the priest add to the groups damage as shadow spec. I figure he will add a lot by increasing the groups damage output and providing some healing with vampiric embrace. I have also thought about going demo, on them for more survivability and overall leveling ease due to being on a pvp server. N=But I am not too sure I will have issues with the opposite faction due to my ability to apply massive amounts of DOTs to any target in just a few seconds.

I do have a 70 prot warrior on my main account that I can use as a sub once I get to 70 and geared on my 5 box team. I intend on using him to try to run instances with three locks and the priest. More than likely I will have to respec the priest so I have a healer.

I just wanted to start a thread so I can pick the brains of those people that have more experience with 5 boxing and group setup for end game. I would love to hear any suggestions that will make my team more effective. Specs, group setup, you name it...

Thanks a lot!

for leveling up 'till outlands at least, speccing the 4 locks for hellfire (17 in destro i think?) and the priest for AoE healing makes SM / ulda / ZF go by real fast. 4 voids out, 4x hellfire going with priest spamming group heal will pump out an amazing amount of dps for your level. You can send out the void walkers to different targets then /petfollow them back to you for nice riskfree AoE pulling.

If you are more into the quest grinding, I think affliction for the locks and shadow on the priest is probably just fine.
