Mine is glued to my left hand, pretty happy with it, 17 buttons, a scrollwheel and a d-pad. I use this and modifiers of ctrl-alt using mouse 3 and 4. Pretty happy with it, although I do wish it had 6 buttons per row instead of 5, and the scrollwheel bugs out sometimes and I need to unplug and replug to get it working again.

omg I have the same issue with the scroll wheel, it bugs the crap out of me! I'll be in a heated battle and the scroll wheel locks up causing me to lean over mid fight and unplug it.
I found out the cause, was due to scrolling too fast, if you scroll only once or twice it should be fine but if you scroll like it's a mouse it stops working.
I also enjoy them quite a bit, it has just enough buttons for me, and if I need more I find a way to micro manage what I currently have laid out so that I am being as efficient as possible.

So technically, it replaces the keyboard whenever you are in combat.
Using keyboard only for those stuff you don't need in combat?
Amirite?
Might pick one up. :o

Agree! And with Trinity Bars 2 one can set up a bar of 14 or 15 buttons to match the Nostromo layout.

The standard one is pretty cheap these days, and pretty durable with the exception of that scrollwheel issue. And yeah it's USB.
I put non all normal combat and healing, follow, assist and shift on it.
And yeah non standard, out of combat and lesser used actions are on my numpad.
EDIT: And yeah I use the scrollwheel to tab target.... When it bugs out it's very annoying.

It does not fit people with small or larger hands well, in my experience. Try it before you buy.
