Mob tagging no longer working?

Hey folks
Have been boosting a paladin with a couple of 70's out of party without any major problems.
This morning, @lv 69 I noticed I no longer get full XP on the boosted toon while mob tagging.
Is this something previously known about or did they implement a fix?

I've been boosting all week. But yeah, the last day or so it looks like they converted to how they do it in classic era. It's a bit of a nerf but can still get XP in some scenarios. At level 3 I get anywhere from 1XP to 65XP from killing the same mobs. Seems like I need to do > 20% damage to get around half and then I get full xp if I do about 50% damage.

Also you don't seem to need the 3rd person on the other side of the map anylonger
