One of my ViewSonic LCD is flicker on and off every couple of minutes (seems to be a problem after 3 years from all the forum posts that I've read). So, I'm looking for a new LCD.

Quite a bit of information in this thread, probably more than you'll ever need:

Update:

It arrived yesterday. Everything worked out easy, the screen barely fit on my desk configuration, just need to raise it up a little.

For WoW, it looks great.
For RealFlight G3.5 (a RC Plane simulator program), there is some video refresh delays. I'll see if I can tweak it, but it's not too big of a deal.

All this extra resolution is great for gaming, but will take some getting used to when just browsing the internet. I'll probably just have Firefox windowed and not maximized if I can't get used to it.

Overall, I'm happy with it.
