I'm sure this question gets asked a lot so sorry, but a quick scan didn't find anything.
When I try to run two wow accounts on my computer the account not being maximized gets weird lag-related effects. If I set it to /follow it will randomly warp around, either falling behind and losing follow or warping 20 yards forward when I stop the main character, which makes even just running a low level character behind your main to run through an instance impossible since the low level will warp ahead and get killed more or less every pull.
What exactly is causing this lag? I assume it is video related - is it that my computer (2 gig mobile processor, 1 gig ram, so-so vid card) is simply not capable of running two windows at once and thus prioritizes the top one to the detriment of the bottom one? Is there some way to get windows to apply equal priority to both instances, even when one is minimized and the other maximized?
Thanks.
