I had a nice little chat with a GM on WoW today. We actually made some small talk...but before I let him go, I just wanted to ask him about Multi/Dual Boxing.
It's Official - People at Blizzard 5+ box, and It's completely Legal and OK to do so.
(I know we've had this established, but I thought it was kinda cool!)
Oh, and don't mind my guild/the people in trade chat....they're blabbering so just ignore them!

Of all the screenshots I'm seeing around, the US gm's seems so much cooler than the EU ones. Not as much automated shite, which is basically all we eu's get thrown at us.

That's really a shame about the EU GM's :?
After this question we proceeded to have a chat about his/my favorite classes and just had some small talk in general. He was a very nice guy!
That is something you'd experience close to never on an EU server, I'm quite sure.

you did specifically say hardware though... I'm still marginally concerned about using keyclone (even though I have been trying it out ^^). I still haven't personally heard of anyone banned for using keyclone, but people tell me that they have heard it happen themselves...

I've had some fun conversations with GMs before now though, talking to them about a raid encounter bugging out, and demanding that they death-touch the boss and hand over the loot. The conversation lead to how evil his bosses are and how much trouble he'd be in.
But while lately they do seem more automated, if you're polite and joke with them they tend to jump in a chat for a bit

interesting... i added the pics to the keyclone faq and linked them here.
Seems like the eu gms are constantly boxing with macro's themselves.

I had one pop in and the conversation went more or less like this:
<GM>: Greetings, Dondiego! Might I have a minute of your time?
<me>: Absolutely. What's up?
<GM>: You boxing?
<me>: Ayup. :D
<GM>: Cool. Just checking. ;)
<me>: No worries. Holler if I can answer any specific questions about it.
<GM>: Will do. Thanks for your time and thanks for playing World of Warcraft!
<me>: /salute
Really that short. He didn't lead me around or ask probing questions or anything else. Short and to the point. Seems pretty cut&dried to me. Now if we could just get the general populace edumacated about it. :p

Do the GM's always talk to the 'main' character?
What do you do if someone reports you on one of your clones?
Do you guys all use DND and put a msg to talk to the main?
Curious on how you would do it.

Actually, this GM spammed all 4 of my guys. :D Was pretty funny and gave me heart palpitations for a second or two.

lol...true that. At the time, it was my first set of toons in outlands and I hadn't had solid confirmation that GMs were aware of the practice and approved of it. Different story next time it happens.
