So I did some basic maths to determine what it would take to self fund your accounts through just callings alone. There are some basic assumptions, some of these figures are more volatile than others. Don't be that guy. I'm being conservative in these numbers. Also yes, this is a linear equation so an 8 box would require the same amount of effort.
The whole point of this is to illustrate that you could self fund with tokens this expansion by doing just callings fairly easily, although honestly once winter passes and things reopen again there's no way I'm going to waste 6 hours a week doing callings to save $75 a month. I could make (way) more officiating ice hockey on any given Saturday.
Team: 5 box
Gold per Calling: 1500g This value is super volatile. I don't believe I've seen much under 1500g but I have seen as high as 3k.
Token Price: 120k This is higher than the current token price. This number is obviously even more volatile.
Total Gold Needed per 30 days: 600k
Callings every day
There are two approaches you could take with this method. One would be to login every day and do your callings. This is a great way to burn out, but would net you the most amount of gold.
1500g per calling

You would need 3 teams to have enough gold (600k) to make this approach work. Alternatively you could probably do it with 2 and make up the difference (150k) doing other activities.
Callings twice a week
The other approach would be to do your callings every 3 days and do it twice a week. This will take on average a little less time than doing them on individual days. In some cases there's a little bit of overlap, but not always. At the same time, you will probably get burned out because it's going to probably take an hour per team to do all 3 at once. Another assumption here is that 30 days = 4 weeks.
