Multiboxing Banned. Classic?

It is my understanding that multiboxing (software) is to be banned for the release of the new expansion, due to various mechanics in the current version of the game that are, apparently, causing unfair advantages.

I cannot find any blue text on their stance on Classic. Has anyone read anything on this?

Yes, Blizzard applied the same input broadcasting software ban to classic that they applied to retail. There's tons of blue posts on this, and tons of other threads here about it. Read any other thread on this forum posted since Nov 4th
