I still need to do more testing before I can decide how good this comp may be in Shadowlands at lvl 60. But my current reasoning this:

1. Marksmanship Hunter, Shadow Priest, Affliction Lock are all specializations which received changes in Shadowlands that made their DPS rotation more simple and easier to fit into one or two GSE2 macros. This is especially true for MM Hunter, which can get away with rotatating just two or three main abilities (Arcane Shot, Steady Shot, Aimed Shot) most of the time.

2. All three specializations look like they will be doing quite well damage-wise in Shadowlands.

I'm currently trying Protection Paladin - MM Hunter - Shadow Priest - Affliction Warlock - Restoration Shaman. I will report back here once I've done more testing in the current end-game dungeons, but I'd say this 5-class composition looks quite promising at the moment. It probably won't be as powerful as the best trinity comps, but for people who are looking to play 5 distinct classes like me, this could be a good choice of comp.

I'm also considering swapping my MM Hunter with a DH for the 5% increased magic damage debuff, although this trade-off is worth it.

Would love to hear what you all think.

I think BM >>> MM. Curious why you think MM would outshine BM.

Can't a Vengeance DH also give the magic debuff? I don't believe the spell damage debuff is that worthwhile. Like, yes, it's good, obviously, but in the grand scheme of things, it's a small benefit compared to having a better character in a lot or having less types of armor. It would be really cool if you could play this team with a holy priest and/or swap the hunter with another clothie. I know mages are kinda hard to box, but just my own 2 cents.

I wish you luck with this. I definitely want to hear some updates once you get this team rolling. I would like to get a mixed caster team going but it will probably be the second content patch before I get around to it.
