Does Hotkeynet still work?

To my knowledge, yes.

Is using Hotkeynet to multibox allowed?

Yes.

Are you guaranteed to not get banned while using Hotkeynet?

No. There were a few times in the last year or so where Hotkeynet users were caught in banwaves where Blizzard's anti-cheat flagged it and people got their accounts suspended. From what I saw quite a few got those suspensions overturned., but perhaps not all since they've made it a bit of a chore to get a human to view your tickets nowadays.

However, this is the risk with any and all multiboxing software. It's perfectly plausible that any of them would receive a similar wave of bans. It's just something that we need to accept.

Similarly if you spend your time essentially just farming for gold, then I will point out that you more than likely look exactly like a bot to any automated detection Blizzard might be running. If you act like a bot, look like a bot and smell like a bot, then there is a chance you might be perceived to be a bot and could be actioned as such. Just a word of warning, since we've seen this over and over this expansion.

As I said: There is always a chance you will get falsely banned no matter what multiboxing software you use. It's not a high probability, but it exists.

Is ISBoxer more or less likely to have such an issue? There is no real way of knowing. The only thing we have to go by is that apparently HKN has been flagged in the past where as ISBoxer has not (to my knowledge anyways).
