I thought i would get it out there as its totally bonkers but personally i think it works for me.

My setup is 4x tank spec shaman with a resto shaman, tanks round robin threat and semi off heal/off tank.

Mana and health stream totems do wonders in rotation etc

This is gear dependant due to the lack of gear but obviously the main attribute for me is agility, stamina. etc

Tanking is a breeze, and damage is divided heavily.

Up to level 40 you can just go with 5 enhancement shamans and use one as a 2h tank with rockbiter weapon, 5 grounding and stoneclaw totems are all the survivability you need, after that spec 4 of them elemental and start buying mage water so you can heal the tank without resetting your weapon swings

Quite a bit of 5S talk lately in the ISboxer Discord's #wow_classic channel. Could maybe ping ideas off in there as well.

I did level 5 ele shamans, all the way to 60 + more- I had no problem to clean the dungeons- a lot of burst dmg and self heals, i have total of 6x shamans.

do you play 5 ele or 4 ele + 1 resto ?All 5 (or 10) of mine were all Ele/Resto but I did usually have at least 1 more Resto than Ele. Personally I preferred 4+Tank (or 9+Tank or 8+2 Tanks) over straight 5S or 10S (unless PVP). They are OKish in Classic and get better in TBC...

This has been one of my favorite classic teams tbh. I leveled 4 enhanc and 1 resto till about BRD, then found aggro spread to be a bit troublesome so tried out a "tank" shaman with lots of agility/stam gear running 1h and shield with rockbiter. I set it up for this shaman to earthshock while the dps shams used frostshock and he held aggro really well overall.

Worked absolutely fantastic as I initiated into endgame dungeons. As I did that I worked on the shaman's prebis ele set and when 90% done that swapped them all over to ele. It's so fun and with the ele shams having a shield they're surprisingly tanky, the only issue is that they're eternally thirsty :D. I've finished all dungeons with them and was playing them weekly with my friends in ZG and overall they were quite competitive (we arent doing 40 mans on that server so our gear is mostly prebis and pvp stuff).

Really excited about taking this team into TBC, it's an absolute blast! Nothing like x5 EM+ZHC+chainlightning and earthshock combo to delete mobs in dungeons :P.

thought i read that TBC was coming sooner than expected, and really nothing compares to 5 ele shamans, they just oneshot with chain lightning. It was the peak of wow multiboxing power imo. Everything they do just stacks.

my shaman team is approaching 50 and I have slowly bought cheap +nature damage gear off the auction house over the last few month...as soon as they hit 54 I can basically swap from enhance to some ~200 spellpower ele shamans with no stats whatsoever ...will see how that works out

Shaman are great, the main stench for them is chain heal, chain lighting and most important. Mail armor and shield. This is what makes the difference!

The only problem on shamans is when you get jumped by 5x mages :) you gonna be dead in split sec. :)

On my 6x shamans I did level Engineering to 205+ sapper charges and few other professions to 200+ I have epic mount on all 6x.
Been thinking to level 4x more shamans for no reason to box 10x at this moment I'm leveling 2x priests 8x mages+ level 42+ on all.

Atm i'm playing a 4M1P and its pretty insane.
But I'm wondering how it would probably be at the beginning of TBC with a full 5 ele sham ? could you clear dungeons and HC one ?

easily, elemental shaman are very strong in tbc and the burst and stacking makes them a great choice.

I boxed shaman in tbc all the way including arenas.

they are so much fun and the PvP gear sets look amazingly cool 😎

^_ I do agree, I think 10x shamans in WPVP IN TBC will be insane! very strong team from range, that's why when you run dungeons, you knock things down quick before anything touches you. I would add 1 or 2 paladins to the group.

Even tho you have 5 Sham you can one shot someone lol. Stacking is not working on classic, maybe it will be the same on TBC.

Even tho you have 5 Sham you can one shot someone lol. Stacking is not working on classic, maybe it will be the same on TBC.Part of the issue in Classic is the "Hybrid Tax" where Shaman, Druids, & Paladins have major issues in multiple roles.

Much of the Hybrid Tax was removed in TBC and it was adjusted further in WoTLK (maybe too far in some roles)... They reason they can stack well is because they become good at both damage and healing and are fairly tanky (multiple roles) and uniquely have some Artificial Intelligence in their tool box that can really help multi-boxers (targeting by Chain Heals, Chain Lightning, Tremor Totem, etc)...

Mages are still good in TBC but their unlimited AoE is gone and they cannot pump out heals like Shaman and aren't in mail with a shield. Their strengths include avoidance which is somewhat based on movement which is not a typical playstyle for many boxers. They still have great CC and damage and will be good but I think Tank3MP will be better than 4MP for most people in ClassicTBC (and Paladin4Shaman will be better than either of those).

TBC was the beginning of their long road of attempting/failing to make sure every class spec could get invited to raids. So a lot that didnt stack in vanilla did stack at the beginning of TBC and especially the new totems like Totem of Wrath which was the biggest reason Shaman were so insane 5x. It didnt change until i think around the cata prepatch, so there's no reason it should be different in TBC classic.

Tbc 5x shaman is the most fun you can get possible :) Up to Wrath .) World pvp is just hilarious to do , like, blowing 3*-5 people is omega fun!
I am sure Krusch will agree with me :)=

Once the Tbc hits I might pair with Krusch and we just go 2x 4x ele 1x holy pala and pump :) Haha.
Nothing more funnier then popping hero, Ns/CL and seeing group of people flop, especially if you use pots and on use trinkets for omega dmg .P

Grounding totems can get hilarious as well.
