You never mention what kind of resolution you will play at... slaves on gfx settings 1? Main at ? ... do you know how to slot swap macro? ..... desired fps? Directx11legacy?
No lag? Thats unrealistic on this old game. The more people online, the more lag. There will be lag and low fps at times, no matter what. Imagine during the start of shadowlands etc.
And you will need atleast 64gb ram with 10.
The 750w psu from corsair is decent.
Use only m.2 or ssds.
The 3,5 inch WD blue harddrive you mentioned = its an ok hardrive to use as extra backup, for pictures etc etc, but regardless, if you got anything important, then also use external backups and possibly cloudbased backups. Do not use this drive for gaming.
You can fidle with f.ex pcpartpicker.com site to find compatible hardware.

Alright (assuming you were somewhat happy playing 5 on your old pc): id suggest getting 64 gb of RAM + if possible, the amd 3950x (allows for more overhead and more resources to the OS too, though if budget doesnt allow, get the 3900x).
Remember to double check the home page for the motherboard: to locate which ram is compatible with it.. before you buy.
Just be aware that you need to get a second battlenet account, if you want to play 10, as the max you can add to 1 battlenet account is 8 wow games.
So ye, prepare to get "pathfinder, mounts etc etc one more time.." if you want to play more than 8 accounts. ...unless you want to use the 10 to do other stuff.. and dont care about pathfinder etc etc, then yes, its not something you need to worry about.
The next step-up would be the threadripper 24 core etc, but then we are talking quite a bit of more money.

Yes I am aware of needing another Bnet.
But I did forget about the pathfinder, mounts etc which would drive me up the wall, as I like all mine in Sync and have over 500 mounts so I think for Now
I will stick with my x5 like I have since BC lol
So what do you suggest then ?
3900x be more the enough ? or more beneficial amd 3950x
32g ram. Any specific kind ?
Graphics card ?
Motherboard ?
Oh, I do not intend to OC anything

Im very happy with my 5man pcs:
Each has a:
cpu cooler:
Corsair Hydro H100i PRO RGB 240 mm
RAM: (get 2 kits = 32 gb RAM)
G.Skill Trident Z Neo DDR4 3600Mhz 16GB
2x8GB 3600MHz DDR4, CL16, XMP 2.0, RGB
Productnr.:F4-3600C16D-16GTZNC (make sure its this!)
Motherboard:
ASUS TUF Gaming X570-Plus, S-AM4
(update bios and then set ram to use the "xmp profile" in order to use the intended speed the ram can provide, as a minimum, if you dont intend to overclock the cpu a little bit).
Regarding cases:
i like the ATX Fractal Define 6 (or 7), or their Meshify series (if so, i like the "meshify C TG white"), as they have easily cleaned dustfilters, so its super easy to clean once a month. Not to mention they have good airflow and place for many fans.
cpu:
AMD Ryzen 9 3900X
(Ofc get the 3950x instead if budget allows).
hardrive:
Intel 660p 1TB M.2 SSD
M.2 2280, PCIe 3.0 x4, NVMe, 3D2 QLC, up to 1800/1800 MB/s 200TBW
Productnr.: SSDPEKNW010T8X1
Powersupply:
Corsair HX750i, 750W PSU
You can try use your current gpu with 4 gb vram and see how it works, before you spend money on upgrading.
(personally i use the Gigabyte radeon RX 5700 xt gaming oc with 8 gb vram, overkill: a "nvidia 1060 or so with 6 gb vram would work nicely too, but the RX 5700 xt wasnt "that" much more expensive" at the time i bought it, so i went for it).

i want to point out that both Nvidia and AMD are launching new GPUs soonish. S0 you might want to wait a bit.

Looking into the items you mentioned now.
I play wow, spec side of hardware I get it alittle not fully, my ex built my pc previously so now I need to figure all this out myself well with my 18 yr olds help
This current pc is going to my 16 yr old which will benefit her a lot compared to a dinosaur pc she has currently so nothing from existing pc can be used.
My 18 yr old says we can build pc it aint hard. Do I just choose my components and get the pc shop to build with, update bios etc, or should I get my teen and I to have a crack at it ?
Yeah I saw the same cooling as well which I was going to go with.
I was going to go all out on RBG stuff but honestly it's a waste of money for me anyway where I'd rather use it on better parts instead
This :
RAM: (get 2 kits = 32 gb RAM)
G.Skill Trident Z Neo DDR4 3600Mhz 16GB
2x8GB 3600MHz DDR4, CL16, XMP 2.0, RGB
Productnr.:F4-3600C16D-16GTZNC (make sure its this!)
I don't get it. Are you saying get x1 G.Skill 16gb stick and then get also
G.Skill Trident Z Neo 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3600MHz Desktop RAM
that as well ?
I see this: https://www.scorptec.com.au/product/Memory/DDR4/78083-F4-3600C16D-16GTZNC?gclid=Cj0KCQjwhIP6BRCMARIsALu9LflY6v2l82_P 3ObKuc60ZXBFD6kNjiKvOm9J4T-tfZUZY83kJ1ONGk8aAjICEALw_wcB
So do I get x2 of those ?

Also what do I need to look for on a motherboard
What about these, are they no good, whats good or bad about them?
ASUS ROG Strix X570-F Gaming Motherboard
ASUS ROG Strix B550-E Gaming Motherboard
Or this I was looking at
Gigabyte GA-X570 Aorus Master Motherboard
Looking at these whats difference and what is better for my boxing purposes and for future gaming as I do not plan to upgrade my pc again for a long time if ever after this one
Gigabyte Aorus Radeon RX 5700 XT, 8GB
and then there is
Gigabyte Radeon RX 5700 XT Gaming OC, 8GB
and this all within similar prices
Sapphire Nitro+ Radeon RX 5700 XT Special Edition, 8GB

The ram kit is a total of 16 gb (2 x 8 gb sticks). You need two of these to get 32 gb.
If you dont know how to build a pc, get help from someone who knows or get help from a shop (if you have any). Alternatively you could buy a prebuilt system.
If you dont have any special preferences when it comes to motherboard, just get a cheap one that can support the cpu you want. As you arent planing to do any overclocking, you dont need to buy a expensive board that has very good "vrms / powerfull power delivery capability, suitable for overclocking".
I wanted a cheap but ok board, thats why i got the asus tuf board.
When it comes to gpu, any decent and newer that has 8gb vram would be great. If in doubt, find reviews.
The motherboards arent all alike and some have more or less ram slots..
The example of parts i mentioned, was bought for the hardware i got.
If you feel like linking the shop you plan to buy from.. that would be helpfull. Or else we could be here forever suggesting parts which they dont have in stock.

Eventually will boost the ram if I need it, might up boxing from 5 to 7 and go from there
The Graphics card comes with 2 bonuses, Godfall and believe it or not WoW Shadowlands lol. So that's good as I already have one expansion purchased when I did pre-order.
And the CPU Also comes with a bonus Assassins Creed Valhalla
All in all pretty happy not the original case I really wanted as the one I wanted it the cooler would not fit
Oh and I am waiting to see if they can change the PSU to this one

Thanks, its intended to last forever as I have No plans to ever upgrade again.
Now I dont know what screen to buy, I dont have curved not sure if I would like it or how well it would work boxing on the one screen.
Cannot decide 32 or 27 inches, IPS or VA /flat or curved I think 144hz though is ideal spot
