I've been told by some friends that for solo players, arenas are a viable/quick way to farm echoes (even faster than m+). I was thinking of doing 2s on my 4 DKs and seeing what I could do. Friends are reporting that they're able to do about 1000/hr. I guess I'll update you all here if I can find some time to get into arenas.

I've heard rumors that TD1 will be available on Friday. I can't find any reference to that being the case according to below, TD2 will be available on June 26th. As another note, it appears that Twilight Devastation does stack. The proc rate does not go up, but the percentage will. I.e. if you have TD2 and TD3 equipped, you would get a total of 30% hp as damage under the same proc rate of 1.25 PPM.

I think this Friday is the last cycle before it restart again, so by default TD1 should be on there (hopefully).
Also heard arenas were good, but you also need to win the match to get them. Additionally a full clear of a vision is 750 echos. So if you're able to do that, it's better but for the filler I agree this seems like a possible option!

It's anywhere from 30-65 echoes per arena win. I don't have weapons for frost, but somehow I was able to beat a few teams with unholy. It wasn't a particularly fun use of time. I really wish they'd bring back 5v5 arena. 3s could have had some potential as well, but UH just has no burst, insta-gib potential.

Doing arenas are definitely faster than grinding mythic+ dungeons, if the sole purpose for echoes, but as you point out, there are a bunch of other, seemingly better ways to grind echoes up from the daily/weekly activities. Unfortunately I'm a little stalled out on my DK team until I get some Twilight Devs rolling.

Being avid farmer and pvp freak I can tell you following:

2vs2 : 50-80 per win
3vs3 : 70-150 per win

I've had around 2 k per hour highest and average of 1400 pr so per hour.

Best way to get echoes is to grind 1400-1500 mmr range.

These are good numbers. I wasn't planning on trying to get into PvP until next expansion but I may play around with it a little. Unfortunately there will come a point where I care less about echoes so we'll see if I continue to chase it.

It looks like based on your numbers, the number changes with MMR, which totally makes sense. I was around 1000 MMR but I can't stress enough how god awful unholy was.

I really miss PvP specific gear/stats. I never thought I'd say that, but when you can roll in with PvE gear and you're going against people 470 gear and you're only 445 you're at a supreme disadvantage.

When i farm them i do them during primetime, high population hours. There's instant queues and a lot of free wins during these hours from undergeared and non pvpers. Doing them during off hours guarantees matches against the serious pvpers and you'll likely lose 9 out of 10 matches. Even the 2500 teams are farming echoes at 1500 right now. A lot of teams leave at start to drop rating so you get some instant wins. Weekends are best as a lot of people are trying to get their weekly's done before reset.
