Hello!
It has been quite some time since I dual boxed and I am trying to get it going again. Thankfully EMA looks like it will help immensely as I have done almost everything manually in the past. But I cant find any info on how to configure it. There is one video on utub but it is grainy and I can't get the gist of it from that. There are a few videos in German alas not in my purview. I am having issues with the basics. I cant get chr2 to follow the master chr1. They are in the same team and I have set strobe follow but no dice. I see on page 14 of EMA thread a keybind screen with EMA listed as an addon for keybinds but that does not appear in my keybind screen (WoW classic). What am I doing wrong and where can I find some instructions on how to set this thing up properly? Thank you all!

From memory you need to make sure the Classic WoW clients are running via InnerSpace and that the WoW clients have both the EMA and ISBoxer addons enabled.
Once the above is met you need to turn on keymaps via the ISboxer icon in the upper leftmost corner and from memory I think it is "Alt-F" that makes all characters turn/follow the current Foreground client.
Though Dynamic Boxer is optional in my case I also use the Dynamic Boxer addon and have to copy the string from the Slot 1 Client to Slot 2+ the first time I launch those clients.

I thought that EMA could free stand without ISBoxer. I was trying to keep it simple by using EMA, with only 2 toons ISboxer seems like overkill.

Personally for me ISBoxer brings so much to games that I even use it when only doing 1 client.

Yes, it works fine without ISBoxer - been using it diligently for months now.

Add-ons cannot provide replication, which is what's (mostly) required in order to efficiently multibox.

Thank you for the assistance. I am aware that hotkeys or some other key repeater is needed. All I am trying to do is figure out how to get the toons to follow and interact with quest givers atm. I figured out the answer to my original issue was how to get one toon to follow the other which is:
target the toon you want to follow and
/ema-follow master strobeon
I will now create a macro to the effect
/target party1
/ema-follow master strobeon
I have found that the minion will complain after combat that there is no target with strobeon. I put a line in my attack macro that solved this perhaps my settings are wrong. The macro for attack is:
/assist party1
/castsequence reset=target fireball, fireball
/target [nocombat] party1
I have not been able to find a decent guide to set this up. I have watched hours of stuff on utub and I finally caught this command out of one of them. I have been finding little bits of info here and there but nothing inclusive. I think I am starting to catch on to EMA a little, now to set up key broadcast.
How are you replicating keys to your second client? As Mirai points out, you need to pass SOMETHING to the other client in order for it to do things. EMA follow strobing is the only thing I can think of where that's the exception, but things like casting spells, etc...I just don't see how it's accomplishable otherwise.
In order to interact with a target (AKA talk to a quest giver), you need to pass a keybind that is bound to your "Interact With Target" keybind in game. There's no way around it, you cannot macro that action in game.
