I find TSM almost ideal for tracking items on alts, especially for crafting.

Hi,
i actually need some of your wisdom... I am using a setup where is created a virtual link from all my sub account to my main account addons config folder. This way i setup my addons only once on one character and then apply the same profile everywhere. The big plus is that if i change something to elvui for instance, it applies automatically to all characters.
The main downside is the tracking. When all my characters are logged at the same time, then the last one who disconnect is the one who update everything and therefore erase the update of all the other toons. To be accurate i would need to connect and disconnect all the character sequentially.
How do you guys cope with multiple account addon setup and character tracking.
I ended doing an excel spreadsheet that download a lot from the armory, but still i am missing information...
Thanks
I'm creating symlinks via Windows (mklink) between different clients and accounts - but only for specific settings/addons (like unitframes). So pretty much the same as you have but being more granular.
I mean, what you want to track, if all do share the same config?
How often do you make changes to addon settings?? Always make the change on the main slot and logout him last?

while writing my post i was actually thinking about your solution. I am mostly only changing Elvui and not that often...
Currency and inventory is the most important. I use TSM but it is not always accurate. If a character was last disconnected in a group, then it has not updated the database.
I dont remember the folder structure, but i will check it out.
By progress what do you mean? content, equipment, quest?
I use a whiteboard behind my desk to track which characters/teams I've done stuff on. I primarily use it for work projects, but I find this easier.
I know this isn't particularly helpful advice, but figured I'd share.

I use this website/addon/program
https://wowthing.org/
It only lets you view the data in a website, and only seems to work well for a single bnet, but other than that it does a good job.

Fuii,
could you please explain in detail how you link individual folder/addon? I looked at the folder structure and it is not obvious to me how to process.
Thanks
EDIT: I tried to use wowthing.org but for some reason it stay empty. i was able to upload a log from the addon, and even though it is successful, the page remains empty.
