Me and my wife are leveling 5 Characters on a European PVP Server,
Wife: Warrior and Priest
Me: 3 Locks

They are about 35 at the moment. its fun :D

My wife wants to also try 3 Mages... What would be a good compliment to add as 2 additional classes? Paladin, Shaman or Shaman, Druid or what?

We like doing instances, probably later some BGs and open world PVP of course and at a later stage (70) 5 man heroics...

Thanks for the Help.

Thanks for the advice.

For heroics I would need a tank + some healing I suppose. So any preference for both of those roles that I could easily 2-box with 3 mages?

If you are running with 3 mages then you have so much crowd control that you wouldn't need the aoe-tanking of the pally (though it's still good). So you can have any tank you want :) You could always try the all out dps route if you wanted, or the tank, healer+3dps. there are so many options :)

Basically pick any 2 classes and you should be able to find a way to make it work - sorry for not really helping you decide :D

I tend to work on the synergy the classes will bring to the table... I currently have a pally, 3 shams and a druid but I can't help be feel I would get better PVE mileage by replacing the druid with another paladin... yeah Mark of the Wild is nice but 2x blessings and auras could be nicer.

of course if you had 2x druids to go with her mages, you could tank and healer, have some nice melee DPS with 2 cats :) or moonfire spam in the odd arena... 5x CC anyone?
