WoW Classic Characters cannot be transferred between accounts.
Well @#$%! I realized about level 40 or so that I didn't set up my chars and accounts correctly, but figured I'd just pay to fix it later - now I see that's not an option. I put my Multiboxing Priest on the same account with my main raiding Mage and my MC geared warrior alt - so now I can't use either my geared chars to help MB/gear up my others unless/until I level another healer.
So here's what I have now (and what I'm looking at changing). I'm really enjoying the WMMMPr, but I'd like the flexibility of going to MMMMPr if I just want to farm Orbs & Herbs. I think my main goal needs to be getting a priest on Acct 2 up to 60 ASAP, but I may as well add some locks to my other accounts just for more Tailoring/Alchemy CDs as well as to help with raid summoning.
Does this seem like the best approach or am I missing something?
Acct 1: Main Mage, Main Warrior, Priest (abandon priest)
Acct 2: War (Add Priest, abandon War)
Acct 3: Mage (Add Lock L35-40)
Acct 4: Mage (Add Lock L35-40)
Acct 5: Mage (Add Lock L35-40)

At first glance I was thinking I would do it differently but after laying it out I think I would do it the way you are planning. For reference:

I am not sure I would abandon your current Priest and Warrior as having them the way you do does give you a lot of flexibility to decouple your main Mage and main Warrior from your 5box team when you may want to (if/when you are in raid/pvp spec and/or want to get world buffs and/or park your mains elsewhere for some reason like raids/PVP/etc)...
If I didn't have Warlocks I would hate having my main as part of my primary 5box team but even with Warlocks there are times when I wish I had an alternate I could sub in...
You can either powerlevel 4 characters with your main Mage or just do a standard 4LP team to cap (which is pretty easy to level) and end up with another Lock and have an option to play with 4LP at cap (which is pretty fun).

Thanks for that. And yes, when I say I'll abandon them, I don't acutally intend to delete them or anything - just slide them to the back burner. Your thoughts about being able to decouple my main to keep raid buffs or whatever aren't something I'd considered, but that will be useful. Thank you.

I spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to make my existing characters on two accounts (60 mage main + 60 semi-geared priest on one account, a 60 semi-geared warlock on a second) work in the context of 5boxing. After a lot of hemming and hawing and permutations, I ended up realizing that I don't actually want my main Mage to be a part of my normal 5boxing group, since as nodoze pointed out - my mage is often often world buffed, raiding, has a raid spec, has specific raiding keybinds/macros and not really set up for multiboxing, etc. - and thus not always readily available to farm.
I do however value the ability to toss him in to a 5man group for the purpose of farming reputations he needs, farming the baron mount, and other things like that. Thus - as weird as it feels to have multiple 60s of the same class on one account, I've decided to level up another mage on my main account. This allows the 5man group to be completely independent and decoupled from my main, but I can still swap in my main mage for the 5man mage if wanted.
There is perhaps also something to be said for anonymity if you just want to take a break from guild activities for a while!
I've thought about the following two teams:
Account: 1 2 3 4 5
Main 1: (M)(L)
Main 2: (P)
Team 1: M M Pa L P (currently lvl 27)
Team 2: W D M M L (unstarted, and still not set in stone at all)
Doing it the above way gives the following teams, none of which include either of the mains: MMMMP (max AoE), PaMMMP (max AoE with tank), PaMMLP (added lock utility), and then having the Warrior and Druid further expands the permutations, though not entirely necessary I guess. I would then be able to swap either my Mage or Warlock into the comps, if wanted.
This of course doesn't take into account any boosting possibilities, which is maybe a mistake - but I personally like having 5 character all leveling up at the same time, and getting practice dealing with the mechanics of encounters and fine-tuning the process. If I'm missing something obvious (either a better way to do things, or a flaw in this plan), feel free to point it out :) This is also my first time with 5boxing, so still learning a lot every day!

There is something to be said for leveling your group together - especially your 1st group. I know I learned a ton of just little tweaks along the way. Stuff like keybindings and macro adjustments to they fit together well.
That and I really like the classic leveling experience and I've done the 1-60 thing 3 times now (solo mage, prot war - leveled with my wife's holy priest, and now 5-boxing WMMMPr). Multiboxing wise, l I think I made just over 1000g just from leveling, and I maxed professions as I went.
Thinking about group/account set up, I suppose it may be best with 1 account that has all your healers - you may swap them around a bit, but you'll probably always want a heal.

[lots of really well thought out planning]Lots of info such that I had to put it into a table to visualize it:

Your plan appears very well thought out to me and covers many bases allowing you to have pretty much every tank/healer option & combo to play with (except groups requiring 2 of the same class like Paladin Tank+Paladin Healer or Druid Tank+Druid Healer).
It indeed covers all the groups you mentioned and more ;-). Even though it may not be a big focus I like that you will have the ability to do Pa+3L+P which is the team I like messing with. If you get everything to cap and get comfortable mixing/matching everything I would like to hear your thoughts on 3L vs 3M with Pa+P.
The only thing I would consider is maybe swapping the account placement of the Warrior and Druid... My thought behind the swap is that ultimately you want to be able to feed your Main Mage with the best Tank if the situation ever requires it and if I had to chose between having a Warrior Tank option or Druid Tank option for my feeding my main I would want the Warrior to feed my main with... I think the Paladin will be preferable for lots of casual low-effort AoE grinding but for the really hard stuff with threat drops and/or big damage spikes it is hard to argue with a Warrior's great mitigation cooldowns, taunts, and ability to use consumables (engineering+potions+friggen diamond flask is broken). If you go that route you can also try with your main mage WarriorTank+PaladinHealer which is a really nice threat management combo for a 3 ranged DPS team (will have to be 2ML for DPS if you go that route).

Yea, I followed the same line of reasoning and decided to make my main/pilot account be the one I build comps around.
I have my resto shaman / resto druid / disc priest that I can mix and match with any combination of 4x warriors / mages / shamans. Having my healers spread across 4 accounts would make compositions really awkward.
