Sorry to necro a thread, but this was the only one that I found that has the same problem is me (so far, still looking).

I wanted to return to multiboxing this year with WoW Classic, and I decided to scrap all my old isboxer setups and start new.

Part of that was setting up all my macros inside ISBOXER.

However, I am experiencing the same thing as the OP of this thread and haven't found a solution. Basically, if I set one of the Quick Setups to a keymap, it works. (in this example, I tested with the /console reloadui macro). However, if I create my own, say, a simple /say hello macro, it doesn't seem to work in game.

I am no means a master at this, so there could be something I am missing. I used to have this working once upon a time. I am using the new Named Macro interface. Every macro has a unique key combination that doesn't conflict, isboxer does successfully export. I added the correct teams and groups (with a goal to create dps rotations for each class type). However, even a simple macro to window self doesn't seem to work.

The Keymap in question is:

WoW Macros Classic -> WoW Macro Simple Pet Attack

Only the 4th macro works (/console reloadui)

I tested all of these other macros in game first and they seem to work if set up in game as a macro.

No need to apologize, just start your own thread, which is why I've moved your post to its own thread, rather than confuse people with a necro'd thread. https://www.dual-boxing.com/images/icons/icon14.png

So, there are multiple things going on here...

1) You have the + Slot ID FTL option enabled on the two Actions pointing at the macros you're interested in using, and it should definitely not be.
2) You have assigned "2" as a Hotkey to two different Mapped Keys.
3) The two class-specific macro sets, as well as the "WoW Macros Classic" Key Map are only assigned to one of your two Character Sets. This is fine, but if you're testing on "Team 1," then none of this will work as a result.
4) The "z-Test Macros" macro set is not assigned to anything.
5) BONUS: You have Hotkeys assigned in Key Maps that do not get disabled - Hotkeys should only be assigned in Key Maps, created by the Wizard, that end in "Hotkeys."

As always, you are super helpful.

Got it, this seemed to fix it completely. Not sure what example I looked at that saw this turned on for.

2) You have assigned "2" as a Hotkey to two different Mapped Keys.

Is this a bad thing? or just something to pay attention to? I originally turned off the normal "2" combat one, since my goal is to not use the in game tool bar if I can avoid it, but I think when things were breaking, I turned it back on.

Shortly after uploading, I fixed this. I thought I fixed it before uploading.

This is the one I am most interested in. Maybe I am misreading this or forgetting something I used to know... but what exactly does that mean (in this specific instance).

Does this mean I should have created the Key Map as "WoW Macros Classic Hotkey"? Or should I have named the Mapped Key "WoW Macro Simple Pet Attack Hotkey?"

(or am I missing the meaning in what you are saying). Trying to figure out what actually needs to be set so it would toggle off when I use the Activate Maps key.

It's a "bad thing" from the standpoint of people confusing themselves and not knowing where "phantom" keystrokes may be coming from, and that's usually the result of using a Hotkey more than once on Mapped Keys that are active at the same time. If you normally disable them, then that's fine, but my statement was based upon the profile supplied.

You can select any Key Map and see the description in the lower right, and the ones that don't end in the word "Hotkeys" all contain this line:
"This Key Map is not toggled OFF by the Hotkeys toggle and is not intended to contain any Hotkeys!"

So, for example, because you've bound Shift+F inside of the "Party" Key Map, that means you'll never be able to type an uppercase F in any text field until you either un-assign the Hotkey from there, or add that Key Map to the main toggle.

Likewise, you've created an entirely new Key Map that the base Wizard setup doesn't know about, so any Hotkeys you add to it will also be unaffected by the main Key Map (Hotkeys) toggle.
