Hey everyone,

I'm currently playing a warrior with 2 mages in a triplebox. I'm trying to set up the following:

When my warrior charges, I would like my mages to stop following so they can cast spells from a safe distance. I am trying to make them strafe in order to accomplish this. I would like to just click one of the side buttons on my mouse (I've identified it as "Button4") in order for this to happen. I have bound Button4 to the strafe keybinding in their clients. However, I can't seem to get it to work with Button4 as a MovementHotkey, and when I tried binding another key, say, Oem3 or F, when I press this button my characters do strafe - but they strafe forever. They just continue strafing and the only way to stop them is to close HotkeyNet and restart.

Anyone got any ideas?

Instead of trying to make them strafe to break follow, you can just macro in the change in /follow. I.e. when I start combat with "1" which is charge for my warrior, my slaves /follow themselves. I have a keybind to have my ranged /follow themselves.

I did the same thing on my "drink" keybind - got tired of forgetting to break /follow manually and the mages getting up as soon as I started looting. Having them follow themselves has proven quite useful in other circumstances.

This is genius. I ended up binding strafe left/strafe right to my toons to Z, so before I charge I press Z and they move 2 each to the side. But I'm definitely going to experiment with something like that!
