Retail multiboxing Gold farming

Guys, in the last few days I noticed a decrease in my sales of minerals and herbs and the prices of these items also decreased in AH (I imagine that the competition has increased). I am looking for other ways to earn gold. do you indicate some form of farm raw gold that is not raids or dungeons? perhaps some point of suramar with great respawn of mobs to gain cloth, greens and trashs that will be sold later. any tips?

No doubt you are seeing the inflation results of 3.5 billion people having more time at home.

The main tip that can be given is play the game and do stuff that results in crappy loot that can be vendored or is in demand on the auction house.

Most people with their gold hoarding have done the hard yards of playing the game to figure out what collection method suits their play preferences, and what monotonous tasks they can be bothered with, and any special locations they keep that info to themselves, just in case a million others come along to "their" spot, and thus exploit and expose it.

yea.. the realm im on, prices dropped as well.. now i cant sell any deep sea bag.. but i got good deals as well.. saw people selling deep sea satin at 2g.. and i sniped all of them.. now my inv full of deep sea satin lol..
after awhile of 'money minded' i gave that up and juz play along on the game and save/farm however much gold i can..
too much of gold farming ruins the game for me.. it ends up me not enjoying the game but juz mindlessly farming gold..

I am no longer a fan of farming and switched to having multiple teams all at 120.

Then once every three days I need to log into them and do the emissaries. Its amazing gold for very little time investment, had a post about it someplace. It takes longer at first because you have to level them all, but once you have several teams its less time consuming then farming.

For me, the best gold-making right now involves having multiple teams at 120 and doing any 2000 Gold Emissaries, and the 8.3 Assaults. Seems to be the most efficient, best raw gold farm for us multiboxers.

This.. and dont forget..after exalted you get the satchels/cashes every time you "ding" past exalted.. those have 3-5k gold in them.. and right now there is a 100% rep bonus...it might be worth it to focus on getting to exalted with all the emissaries for this. So just do WQs on all your teams and you will be rolling in gold!

i saw lots of people doing 4x2 farming. i run 5box and i dun wanna go into 4x2.. jus wan to farm some mats to make bags to sell etc.. so.. is 5box farming viable? or it really has to be 2 groups..?

5 boxing farming is still an option, you just get more gold per hour if you have 8, but 8 is the max you can have in 1 section/place. The herb prices have definitely dropped, but so has the price for tokens as well, not by as much but it's been pretty significant.

Just out of interest, can somebody quickly explain the mechanics as to why 2x5 will not work? (I assume it's to do with tagging?)

I've decided to give up trying to get gear myself as I've hit a barrier at 450 ilvl - want to look at getting some gold and trying to buy a little gear but never done any form of farming before.

I got 2x 120 teams of 10x one mixxed with Pally/Monk/DK and the other full DH.

I tried hyperspawn farming but all the hyperspawns I found online are no longer valid so I tried some MoP Raids to find instance lockout no longer resets the lion rares and now I'm back to having no idea how to gold farm from scratch ^_^

Got it - basically mob can be tagged 5x so a group of 5 will grey them. Group of 4x tags mob, the last remaining tag can be open for another group of 4x. :D

Anybody know a spawn spot though? :D

I tried that spot last year, the loot was on par with other spots, but the mobs had some kind of "knockback" effect,: it was alright if the mobs died instantly, if they didnt / you had to afk to visit the toilett etc, when you got back, the toons had been tossed all over the place. Was boring having to reposition the characters. I quickly found another spot in the same zone because of this "annoyance".

is there any add on or how do i know what is the range of the statue on the map? sometimes trying to figure out where to put the statue so that it gets the toons coming....

by the way, i saw a perma farm in my server @ drustvar farming quillboars.. anyone know whats the use? other than the meat which is dirt cheap (80s per meat on AH)? the other thing i can think of is leather?

No I think a few expansions ago they took that kind of functionality out of the add-on API

didnt check bone prices.. but shimmerscale is dirt cheap as well lol..
i wish there was such a spot for fur or tidespray linen.. my spot for fur in nagrand now taken by a perma farmer.. :(

I was using over 4 times the amount of characters you are using, and by placing them spread out in a area / corner of a zone, i was able to create instant respawns usually anywhere, from vanilla to bfa. The mobs are "linked": just have to figure out which are "connected". Usually there are a few mobs that are required to set of the faster respawns, which are placed a bit away/hidden from the area you might be testing/farming. These spots you wont be able to find using less characters. Sometimes it can take a few minutes of killing mobs, they slowly respawn, then suddenly they start to instant respawn.

They do often adjust lootdrops and or nerf spots. Whenever i stopped getting multiple amounts of mounts every 15 min (instead maybe 1 per 30 min, if lucky), it was time to move over to investigate the next possible area "points 500 meters in that direction".

1. ISBoxer is not a shield for cheating in games or breaking game rules. If you are doing things that would get you banned from the game anyway, including harassing others, RMT in games that prohibit RMT, "zone disruption", "afk farming" (also known as botting), etc -- using ISBoxer is not going to help you avoid getting banned, and telling us or the game company that you "only used ISBoxer" will not reverse or prevent your ban. Please leave if that is why you are here.

Here ISBoxer is explicitly stated by for Dual-Boxing.com I would say "Any software or hardware tool ..."


2. We do not promote "afk farming" or "I'm not afk farming I'm just standing still and hitting one button and not looking at it". This is not what our community is about and we're not here to help you do that. Such behavior is toxic to the game, to the multiboxing community, and could result in getting banned from both.

I don't care you're a botter, AFK farmer, or neither. We don't talk about that stuff here because we want to protect the multiboxing hobby from users who are behaving in a way that could bring action from game publishers to restrict what we can do. It's already killed competitive and casual PvP in WoW.

When a user asks "What are the best spots for farming" the answers of "Here's the best AFK places to farm and how I abused mechanics to get lots of mobs" don't belong here. Consider this a warning that we'll start nuking these posts.
