Do you have the link to the original thread? I'd like to read it and have a good laugh.

I love how the first post is grossly misinformed, which then of course cascades down to everything after it. Palehoof, one of the MVP's or whatever they are, even falls into the trap of saying that the 3rd party software is illegal, without even knowing what keyclone actually does. Hooray for not researching.

I'd expect that from most people, but when even an MVP spouts out something like that it makes people think there must be some truth to it.

The troll did have one semi-decent idea. A Multiboxing FAQ somewhere on the wow forums would reduce the amount of multiboxing threads I reckon

edit: Like that post in the CS forum. Except stickied :P

1 dude bitching multiple times on an alt is sooo lame. If he had balls he would post on his main and on one forum instead of forum hopping looking for support.

I have to admit, before I joined this community, I was under the general impression that ANY program that is loaded outside of WoW (third party) that somehow interacted with it, was illegal. After reading a lot about the TOS, its not that Third Party Programs in general are illegal its just ones that automate gameplay. A lot of players don't make that distinction and consequently ride the "follow the masses" train.

So according to the orginal post, Keyclone is now considered a illegal 3rd party program?

Lol, its not illegal, it's just some uninformed person making assumptions/accusations. Don't worry.

Keyclone IS a third party program. The defition of a third party program is anything that loads outside of WoW, and interacts with it. While it is not against the TOS/EULA, it IS a third party program. People simply think of "third party program" and "against the TOS/EULA" as being synonymous, when they are not.
