Currently have a MMMMP that's pretty geared at this point. Looking to start fresh as Horde on a new server.
Toiling between melee cleave with 4 warriors and a shammy for WF or a Spell Cleave with 4 or 5 shammys
Really looking to grind some dungeons and get a bunch of gold. PvP is big so Shammys win there. How well can 4 shammys grind dungeons?

Initial grinding via shaman DPS with no water on a new server may be a gold sync for awhile. In addition to spending more time drinking there may be some fights that are just not complete-able due to going OOM (not sure).
I don't know anyone who has done 4Shaman+Warrior but I believe Pertrolisk and some others have done 5 Shaman to cap and maybe they will chime in with some thoughts.

I’m running 5 shamans atm endgame. It does fine, gear is slowly making things less arduous. I’ve cleared lbrs, scholo and strat live now (quest runs) and it’s been a lot of fun. I’ve ran as 4 enhanc and one resto since early levels and around brd designated one a tank enhanc who uses a 1h shield and rockbiter. It actually plays really well, simply have that dude earthshock when your others frost shock and with rockbiter he snags mobs pretty well. Building a caster set since this is running so smoothly and will probably convert to 4 ele on resto by the end of the week. As far as buying water goes, leveling I just bought the highest water for the resto and the 2nd highest for the enhanc. It worked well since they have smaller mana pools and kept costs down :)

I went with 3 warriors, 1 Rogue and 1 Paladin. Rogue helps with gearing, as all the agi is now put to use, and the rogue puts nice and steady damage, compared to the warrior's spiky damage. Plus I get the added benefit of being able to open lockboxes and locked chests in dungeons.

I feel like thats the most honest reason to bring a rogue

shamys do well in 5 man content as resistances/mana pool isnt something of concern, just have enough mage food with you
