Hey guys, new to the forum. I am trying multiboxing for the first time on WoW, with hotkeynet. I am having issues setting it up.

I am using the basic one computer with 2 WoW's running from hotkeynet's site.

I successfully renamed the windows using crtl +r, and hotkeynet is saying it's sending the commands to both WoWs with no errors. Issue is, absolutely nothing is happening on the game. If I hit 1, for example, neither window reacts at all. The only thing that happens on my computer is hotkeynet says it's sending the command. Something else I noticed and thought was weird...if I try to login to one of the WoW's with hotkeynet running, it only allows certain clicks into password field. I noticed it allowed S, but not a, so I had to turn it off to type in password.

I am sure I'm missing something basic, but I can't seem to figure it out. Any help is appreciated! I tried to attach the .txt I'm using, but the file uploader isn't working at the moment for me. I am using the text file here, exactly as it's written. http://www.hotkeynet.com/wow/wow-sample-two-on-one.html

The example scripts do not deal with an issue that started some years ago where WoW opens another invisible window with the same name for each of your WoW clients. More than likely you are ending up renaming and sending keypresses to those invisible windows instead of the actual game windows.

People have suggested different solutions to this and reported different results, but for example someone here: https://www.dual-boxing.com/threads/55867-HotKeyNet-Issue-with-WoW-Stress-Test?p=421011&viewfull=1#post421011 suggest that they are working around it by renaming 10 windows instead of the 5 games they are infact running.
