Preferred way to include photo's in posts?

General forum question. What is the best/preferred/community acceptable way to include a lot of photo's in a guide?

I can tell going though a lot of old posts here, that whatever we were using 10+ years ago doesn't work anymore. All those links are broken. Recommendations?

My plan is to make a few keyclone guides to get folks started. It's easy to describe how to do the download & install without pictures, but trying to do something like that for the configuration would be much harder without a lot of pictures.
