How to "efficiently" and "quickly" mine/gather ores/herbs and fly away as 5 druids as a newcomer?

So, first time actual isboxer user :) It is my second day. I have watched quite a lot of MiRai's videos (especiall those 2hr+ ones) and created my isboxer and layouts etc. But the thing is i am not efficient, i have a lot of quirks to take care of. So any tips or suggestions? I looked for them on isboxer forums and here but those were either a few years old or was not what I was looking for.

What happens is, i have 5 druids, 1 highmountain tauren, 4 zandalari troll.


1- I see an HERB
2- I move with an angle or dive directly over it in flight form
3- I press X for approx. a second to make sure they are all sitting (I most of the time change form which is faster but occasionally if it is on ledge or something they fall down)
4- I spam "Broadcast the 'Interact with mouseover' " button while moving mouse, praying the gods that they will be aligned on 4 different windows (i have "party castbar" addon which helps on this case a tiny bit)
5- I gather the herb
6- I press and hold "Jump/Flight" button to make sure they are flying (if they are not, they most likely try to follow me by walking which does not work and breaks follow)
7- I press "Follow Me" button and they follow me.




If it is an ORE then it is worse
1- same
2- same
3- I change form which is faster than sitting down
Rest is the same






But people i see who farm with 5 druids are coming to herb/ore, gather in one single action and fly away. Mine takes about 7-8 seconds extra time than just mining, other people are doing it in 1 and maaaaaybe 2 seconds.


Any tips?

I've seen some of those as well and it appears somewhat suspect. Especially if there is a mount + rider type of combo. It felt like they did it a little too fast, that's just anecdotal though nothing to back up the claim.

It just takes practice to get the motions in order. It'll take a moment longer than a solo player but you're looking at maybe an extra second to 2 seconds max more time.

Additionally, are you snapping the camera to a saved view so the camera align every time?

yep, that is the video i first watched regarding gathering and what i use. i watched his 6-7 videos regarding multiboxing including those two 2+ hours videos and no i dont have enchants ill check it. do you know if this item works with druid flight form?

nope i am not, i watched MiRai's videos and set it up to align itsel (interact with mouseover + setview at the same time but still it has to be moved slightly, especially for those siren's pollens)

I have a ekstra Setview - that I sometimes use after i have landet - maybe some thing you can use - first number i how close - last angel you see

Monel-Hardened Stirrups do not work in flight form - some would say use >The Hivemind mount< - When my DK had mining (Speed baby) I used the >Celestrial Steed< from ingame shop.

I have two sets of herbs, one is just druids, that herb for anchor weed, and others outside nazj, the other set is pally tanks. I seem to have more downtime with the pallies, The pallies are dualgathering of herbs and mining, I use the herb enchant on the gloves, ppls say use a macro and put a spare gloves in ur bags for the the mining enchant, (yet I have done that)

I do find it more smoothier with the pallies they have the Monel-Hardened stirrups, and use the Depleted-Kyparium rocket just the simplest of it, and there is not bits and bobs flapping around.

I can say herb with in 3-4 secs, with the pallies, and I dont find that my toons go haywire. Thou my druids sometimes just fly straight up in the sky and dont stop and the only way to do it is to log out or fall to there deaths!

So, as someone who also plays 5 Druids I never even heard of the “x to get them to sit”. I’ll try that later today, it sounds interesting.

However, what I have been doing is just popping out of flight form, grabbing the more and then flying away.

Sometimes my Druids do this, too. They just randomly start walking/flying on their own randomly. To get them to stop, I turn broadcasting on and just mash “WASD” to get them to stop; it works well. Then just round them up, follow and go on your way.

do you guys know how this 'sandbox' thing work? each of my toons suppose to be able to mine the same herb? i tried herbing in WoD.. but only 1 out of 5 able to get it.. the rest cant get it.. any reason?
