Hello everyone, I started playing classic WoW a couple months ago and started two accounts to help with farming/leveling. Of course after manual dual-boxing for a bit, I fell into the rabbit hole of multiboxing. Long story short, I tried 5 man multiboxing on my 9 year old PC and even though it about killed that old thing, I loved it so much I decided to build a new PC basically just to 5 man WoW lol. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to discussions on what they were building for their multiboxing setups, as they were invaluable in my build planning.

Ryzen 9 3900X 3.8GHz
Asus X570 TUF Gaming Plus (WI-FI)
Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4-3200
Seasonic Focus Plus Series 850 Watt 80 Plus Gold
Samsung 970 EVO+ 1TB SSD V-NAND M.2 2280 PCIe NVMe
Asus GeForce RTX 2080 Ti ROG Strix Overclocked Triple-Fan 11GB GDDR6
NZXT H510 Elite

Now, the question of what to use for my display/monitor, as I am currently running the above build on a old Asus 24" monitor. I have the capability to use a 4K monitor I think but am really on the fence about whether that's necessary. I am intrigued by the Samsung CRG9 49" ultra wide just because of the sheer audacity of that thing sitting on your desk. Also, I was looking at the Dell Alienware AW3418DW which is "on sale" for $750 at Microcenter. I would like something a bit bigger than 27", obviously for the extra real estate needed for 5 boxing WoW. Any recommendations based on my system? Any of you guys using 4K for your setups? Thanks guys.

4k has high spec reqs to get the most out of it.. i have had 4k montiors and my favorite monitor ever is the one i have had for 3 years now..Acer Predator 34 ..ultrawide 144hz 3440x1440..not only is it awesome for multiboxing ( any game that can be boxed ) but its amazing for all games. There are new versions of these ultrawides with gsync ultimate and HDR..they go for twice as much ( 2200usa or so ). With that card I would highly recommend looking into any of the asus/acer/alienware gsync ultrawides.

Heres a link for some ultrawides (https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/best/ultrawide-gaming)..i would google them though.. some you tubers give side by side comparisons.

I would reconsider the choice of case. NZXT H510 Elite is pretty, but it's not got much in the way of airflow. At least, going off the Gamers Nexus review https://www.gamersnexus.net/hwreviews/3496-nzxt-h510-elite-case-review-making-things-worse
