View Full Version : Help with choosing a 5 man team
Hi all! I'm very new to 5 man multiboxing and am looking for a nice 5 man team for WoW classic. At the moment, I was thinking of 4 warlocks and a priest as I am not comfortable with running many different classes (at least not until I learn some more). Do you think 4 warlocks and a priest would be able to smash through most levelling dungeons and would be relatively easy?
Open for any and all suggestions! Thanks in advance :)

You can do all 5M dungeons and UBRS to Rend with this comp
Thanks Margulda! Any pointers on add-ons I should be using that will make healing with the priest easier?

clique healing and then learn how to do repeater regions in isobox. Some great videos out there on this from MiRai (utube multiboxology).
i Drive from a warlock and have a Priest in as heals. My other 3 are all mages for my first group. I am starting a new group and going 5 locks with a pally healer this time.

4 Mages + 1 Priest
or with tank
Tank (Paladin, Warrior) + 3 Mages or 2 Mages + 1 WL + 1 Heal (Priest, Pala, Shaman)
are really strong and easy to handle.

I went LMMMP and did sometimes I miss a real tank because it would Le m pull bigger groups to aoe down. I also notice one of my little mages is the e who always seems to take the brunt of the damage and so tying to keep him up on bigger pulls also becomes an issue. So highly recommence adding a tank as Tazeon recommends.
Update: I'm really enjoying the 4 warlocks and 1 Priest. I got Clique working well with the repeater regions. Thank you for that advice!
I'm facing a couple of issues though if anyone could shed some light on it ...
Direction - Is there a macro I can use so when I cast a spell, it turns my heroes to face the target?
Macros - Are there any out there that multiboxers would consider a must?
Lastly, at what level do you think I could run deadmines with 4 locks and the priest?
TIA :)

I run from the Priest. The only add on for heaing I use is Clique.
This maccro is a must have for warlocks :
/use [nochanneling] Hellfire
You can start running DM at 16, but you can kill the last boss at 17 or 18
For direction, try to use interact with target, but it does'nt work each time, if you are too close from your target
NS: For pvp i''m going to take a paladin for PWWWW, because the priest is too squishy and targets don't live enough longer to stack shadow damage stacks.
