and yes, 5 players can hit the same target at the same time. they have the same macros set... run around and in vent, someone yells 'fire' and they all fire.. maybe a slight difference in time, but pretty close

as for taking the 'fun' out of it for alliance carebears.... hmmm.. sounds like a big 'I WIN' moment in my book

next time, just reply with 'Ni Hao' from all 5 :D

I dont see where this guy is harassing or QQing realy. He actually takes effort to have a polite conversation. If half the people, even on our own faction would do just that and give us a chance to explain what we are doing, and WE actually do so in a proper way, there would be a whole lot less multiboxing woes.

Even though this guy is biased, I would have tried to have a deeper conversation with him. If one of us has a proper concersation with someone like this, it benefits our whole comunity ;)

Also, I think that Leonatus fellow may be the level 1 QQ'er, although that's a very uneducated guess. His hate seems to be a little more personal than just having been the victim of a CL blast. He was probably near the top of my list for killing my shamans before I could blast him, but some people just can't handle a beating I guess.

Update: I posted a goodbye thread on the Battlegroup forums to my Horde friends. I'm sure this one will get a lot of traffic, especially from QQs.

I wasn't there for diablo unfortunately, but i somehow can't see the scenario happening on WoW. It is true there are a lot more of us now then a year ago :) but with such a healthy number of opposers I don't think it's going to happen ^^ let along the fact that many are not willing to splash out what some of us do.

also if we assume that 100% of the members of this site are actual multiboxers, that still only makes us one in 2500 (1in 500-800 if you count the characters :P), so as a proportion of the population we make up less than 0.2%

Oh don't get me wrong, the single player Diablo experience was AWESOME. Better and more memorable than D2 ever was, especially The Butcher...it's just the multiplayer experience that sucked.

Back when it was out though I never got to play multiplayer...I had a 2400bps modem and aol3.0, I couldn't patch let alone play, so back then looking at the promise of multiplayer on the box I was like "WOOOOOOOOW COOL COOP PLAY we can have strategized attacks and everything"(hey I was a kid and not had multiplayer experience lol); little did I know the internet was full of dicks instead of people genuinely interested in the coop experience :p

But yeah...everyone had the same armor and spells that insta-killed everything on screen that wasn't technically available in the "natural" game and had to be cheated in.

I'm more or less to the point that I just no longer give a crap when people msg me non-sense. Any QQ's and I just immediately ignore them. I use to argue back with them, then I started to try to help them understand, then I started making off the wall comments to them that had nothing to do with what they were talking about, but none of that seemed to really work. So finally I just chose to ignore them. They aren't worth my time and tbh, a very large majority of their QQ'ing doesn't have anything to do with you, it's the fact that you are in their mind "beating them" in something they are trying to be good at. They are usually jealous, don't care even a bit in trying to understand as in their mind they are already right.

The level 1 QQImadeanamejustforyou toons are a result of smashing someones face from the opposite faction. I just thought it was funny that someone got whooped so hard they had to take the time to make a char to be able to QQ at me. It's almost like a trophy.

I personally "multiboxed" Diablo 2, ie got 4 chars in one game and powerleveled the 3 lowbies with my hammerdin (as OP as warlocks are in WoW tbh).

4 is the most you can have in one game at a time and I had a friend who did the exact same thing :).

I think I broke some kind of record when I gained a total of over 450 levels in one unique game (switching mules when they reached 80 and kept on going, uber experience ftw).

Sadly I had no experience in frapsing (if actually fraps existed at the time) so I have nothing to back up my saying T_T.

Would give a lot of things to have those vids now for old time's sake ^^.

For the clicking issue : you could simply play in windowed mode and drag the cursor out of the window holding left click down. Helped a lot when farming uber xp to not loose a part of your pointer :pinch:.

I have more problems with QQers of my own faction than the other. Am I the only one or is it because it's simpler for them to whine ? ?(
