Nothin you can do about it tbqh. One of our weaknesses.
I'm actually doing my garrisons daily though, and the best way to go about it is to use addons to speed up as much as you can.
I'm using these to automate the follower and shipyard tables. When you get it down it only takes about 30seconds each.
GarrisonMissionManager
MasterPlan
I fly over to Tanan Jungle and do the 1 quest table for the 600-750 oil when im low. You can do more to get the rep needed for the special ship designs, but i keep it to these quests only. The rep ship "awakener" is amazing. Can do these quests as a group to save time.
Kill 20 deamons
Unseen Influence
Pressing the Attack
Harnessing their power
All of these quests kinda line up with each other and clear at the same time.

Hi dude... Is the worth doing the missions of the ships? Do you do them to catch fish or do you get something else to earn gold?

I'm only familiar with a few WoD professions that still turn good gold,, one being tailoring for hexweave bags.
I'm running these buildings mostly
Inn lvl 2:
For recruiting Extreme scavengers. You'll want to eventually phase out most of your other followers and replace them with Extreme Scavengers. Make sure you have an addon that tells you which follower abilities you need, and have plenty of, so you stay balanced. You want to be able to counter any mission. You'll be pulling 3k-5k garrison resources a day to use on the Trading post ect.
Trading Post lvl 1:
Going to be buying lots of mats with the free garrison resources you build up. You want to buy at the lowest cost of course, but garrison resources cap at 10k so dont let it cap.
Tailoring lvl 3: Gotta have lvl 3 and with a follower that has tailoring (Pleasure-Bot 8000 is easy to get). Churning out as much hexweave as i can. Hexweave is soulbound. There are 3 ways to do it. Building work orders, daily reset, and Primal weaving. To do this consistently you need as much Sumptuous fur, Gorgrond Flytrap, and Primal Spirit. I'll explain my method for getting these below.
Herb Garden lvl 3: Gotta have lvl 3 and set them to push out two herbs. Gorgrond Flytrap for your Tailors and Frostweed for your Alchemist transmuting. If you run this on 5-10 characters you will be swimming in herbs.
Alchemy Lab lvl 3: Need only 1 Alchemist to do transmutes and work orders. Basically send all your Frostweed and Sorcerous water/air/fire to this guy and they can turn it all into Sorcerous Earth, needed to craft Hexweave bags, to your Tailors. Also, you may want one garden producing all herbs because Primal Alchemy does use 2 of each, but i seem to get enough random herbs from the Herb Garden work orders to cover it.
Barn lvl 3: You'll need tons of Sumptuous fur, A LOT. If you can run a separate team for barn fur farming, that's optimal. I'd suggest not using your main 5 team unless you are finished recruiting Extreme Scavengers and have no more need for the Inn.
Barracks lvl 3: for the extra 5 followers.
Optional-
Shipyard: The ship quest rewards are often Sorcerous water/air/fire/earth and Primal Spirit. It's an easy way to get them in chunks of 30ish daily by clicking send on a couple quests. If you have several shipyards you can see how good it is for hundreds of these a day. You also get them through Garrison missions and building work orders if you just dont want to bother with the shipyard, but not nearly as much. Shipyard is tough to get started if you are experienced with it, but it's almost zero work after that when you get it done. I fund my shipyard by doing one quest in Tannan Jungle a day, and it rewards you more oil than you use a day, so it's a net positive and you can just not do it if you dont have time, but the rep earned opens upgrades for your shipyard too.
Warmill lvl 2: To speed up your follower gear ilvl, but if you're wealthy you can buy 645 gear from Trader Darakk, or Frozen Arm of the Hero's off the AH.
--------------
-So basically i have Tailors and an Alchemist churning out daily hexweave and primal earths.
-I have several barns running for that huge load of Sumptuous fur i need. And trapping is boxer friendly.
-I have several herb gardens producing only Frost weed and Gorgrond Flytrap.
-Garrison table missions giving each character Sorcerous, Primals, and garrison resources for the trader and Rush work orders.
-I shop for whatever i'm in most need of on the Trading Post.
-I check the shipyard table for 2-3 quests a day for primals and Sorcerous.
-I keep the mail flow going to my Tailors, and from there i mail the Hexweave bags to my Auctioneer.
-The entire process takes about 30 minutes and the bags are still selling well.
- I'm looking to find another profession that still sells items in BFA. I am just very thoroughly experienced with WoD tailoring so i knew what possibilities were there. Hexweave bags are huge, 30 slots, great alternative for the person trying to save gold but have decent bags for alts, especially with the release of new allied races ect.
-I've seen people just making thousands of engineering gliders and making good gold, not sure how that market is atm, but i see them used by everybody every day.
-Another good building for raw gold is the Gladiator's Sanctum. Filling the work orders with bones takes only seconds and it rewards you with weapons and armor that vendor for decent gold. Not bad for a few seconds of clicking, though you have to get bones from other players. I got thousands from the old Ashran days stockpiled. If you find Ashran active with players at all you can fill up fast, but i havent been there in years.
I just wanted to finish with the fact that if this took longer than 30 min a day i wouldnt do it. I've got it down to a casual laid back 30 min routine and i feel there is way more potential than im using. I'm going to start looking through the other stuff, maybe even look for something that turns garrison resources into straight gold from the vendor and try to pull in as much near passive gold in 5 minutes as i can.

Hi all, this is my 1st post here :)
You can improve few things in your garrison:
- upgrade Inn to level 3, to unlock lucrative missions which grants lots of resources;
- upgrade Trading Post to level 3, to get 20% more reputation for WoD factions (you will need it to buy few rep-locked items);
- build Storehouse level 3, to get 15 extra active work orders in all buildings;
- make sure that Tailoring and other similar buildings are level 3 (grants missions for Rush Orders) and have follower assigned (double production efficiency);
- buy rep-locked Trade Agreement: Arakkoa Outcasts from vendor in Taaan Jungle, which increases size of Garrison's Cache to 1000;
- buy rep-locked Blueprint: Oil Rig from vendor in Taaan Jungle, which will add daily naval Oil Rig mission, which awards 400 Oil every day;
- you can also upgrade Barracks to level 3, to get 5 extra followers (may help with missions);
With such changes it will be enough to visit your garrison 1 or 2 times a week only do do all stuff there. In other days of week you can skip it completely, or do only some minimal stuff.

Doing the same as sirzooro and Purpleflavor - I just buy what I need from Trading Post. Feast of Winter Veil (https://www.wowhead.com/event=141/feast-of-winter-veil) is a good way to get what you need too - now or on a later toon. https://wow.zamimg.com/images/wow/icons/tiny/ability_warrior_stalwartprotector.gif Frozen Arms of a Hero (https://www.wowhead.com/item=128314/frozen-arms-of-a-hero), https://wow.zamimg.com/images/wow/icons/tiny/spell_shadow_demoniccircleteleport.gif Medallion of the Legion (https://www.wowhead.com/item=128315/medallion-of-the-legion)
If you can´t wait to recruited all followers weekly with the Extreme Scavenger trait from your Inn/Tavern.
